I live 5 minutes form this company and have bought hundreds of things off them over the last 10 years, personal I have never head a single problem.
I think a quick Google of reviews should give you a good idea how big and how long they have been going.

A great deal. For starters Intel guarantee that you can read your data off the device even when the drive has failed.
Intel ssds are simply the best... use them at work on virtual servers with huge drive loads/queues.

Bought a PSU from them a few years back. Delivered quickly. Had a slight problem with the PSU and they told me to send it to them. Turned out the problem was a "known fault" (PSU made clicking noises when it was hot) when I read through some forums. They offered me to return it to them and offered to pay up to £5.50 of the return postage, bear in mind the PSU was coming on 2 years old.
I was pretty satisfied with their response time and they were very willing to help.

Was at their showroom yesterday in Tong, Bradford buying a case. Used them for 15+ years and never had a single problem.
Paid more than this for a 240gb same model 2.5 years ago, working without any problem so far, hot from me

Good price for Intel SSD as they are renowned for durability and extremely low fail rate but this is now legacy compared to current SSD's for similar money.

I'm running some Intel 335s and have been since 2012, no problems so far, still under warranty and the one that's seen the heaviest wear has dropped to 99% life remaining (dear god!).
That said, I'm wondering whether I'd see a real world performance improvement from moving to a good M.2 SSD or 4 :P

I picked up an Intel 730 (SATA 6Gbps) 480GB last year from overclockers for 110 shipped
the 750 will get there - in due time
As soon as NVMe production ramps up and it becomes the clear standard, the price will likely normalise with the rest of the SSD market instead of costing 2x the price of SATA.

Intel are reliable, as other's have said - normally uncompetitive regards price, (so they get overlooked on HUKD). Intel spent about 2 years testing/validating - getting the bugs out of the Sandforce 2281 Chipset before they'd put their name to it and bring it to market. (With hindsight, it would have probably been cheaper to design one in-house, as Samsung did)
There was a press release late last year that they were going to get more aggressive (ramping up production) in terms of been more competitive, to gain greater market share regards SSDs, so maybe this is the start of that campaign.
Intel have about the same SSD market share as Sandisk, approx 10% each. Samsung have nearly 50%.

cclonline returns: be in ‘as new’ condition and must not have been used, installed or had any data input on them.
CCL COMPUTERS LIMITED do have net assets of 2.1M on 22.8M Turnover, they seem like a decent company. But I'm so cautious who I deal with (usually JLP or amazon for big purchases).

CCL are one of the biggest and long standing computer component suppliers, they used to focus on the government sectors (local councils, Education, etc) though so didn't appear to do much focusing on direct to consumer as say Scan. They mainly deal in mass market kit though so don't have the wide range of stock as many other suppliers, but if they do sell what you want they are the best company to deal with as they have the best customer service and never heard a single person ever say anything bad about them.

27 Mar 16#21
Used to use this company quite a lot when there prices were the best around, not any more though. Had too many issues with returns when a component didn't want to play even with other hardware I purchased from them. Always did get a refund or usually a credit note as they couldn't replicate the fault in house. It's just I,m used to Amazon and the ilk now so don't want to wait while they check and if no fault is detected they can charge you for the service although again they never have. Middling company lagging behind other modern sellers but no real issues.

Exactly my point, reason why I use amazon and JLP for larger purchases.
Cant be doing with the hassle most companies give you on returns.
I used to buy from argos not any more & never from PC World or Curry's all because of their 'open box' rule.
ps
Costco are very good on returns.

Fact remains once that box is opened you are 'knackered' unlike amazon.

I live about 10.5 hours (by air) from Amazon and have used them a lot. The reports on CCL in this thread seem favourable enough.
As for SSD reliability, let's count 1* ratings on Amazon.com (for large sample size).
For the Intel 730 series, only 1% of customers give it a 1* rating. Astonishingly good.
For Intel 535 series, insufficient sample size.
For Intel 530 series, 3% give it a 1* rating. Same % as some of the popular Samsung drives.
OCZ seem to have between 7 & 22 % @ 1*. Very poor.
Sandisk 3~5%
Crucial 3~6%
Most of the above data is selected from reviews with several hundred customers. The OCZ 22% review had only 181 reviews, but that is sufficient for me to know I do not want their product. I don't want the pain from failing drives.
I would buy Samsung or Intel. I currently own 3 Samsung drives.

Had good experience with their returns. Had a 800w Cooler Master PSU fail on me that was 2 year old, so i took it back to them. (had 3 year warranty i think)
They told me they would send it off on my behalf to the manufacturer. Waited 2/3 weeks then contacted CCL to see if they had heard from the manufacturer, but they haddnt.
Instead they gave me a Platinum rated 820w Corsair PSU (approx £40+ more than the PSU i bought!) Very happy indeed.
Same thing happened with a monitor (25" Hanns-G), they diddnt have an equivalent so they gave me a 27" AOC monitor instead!
Similarly, i bought a R9 270 Card from them but discovered that i was having screen tearing issues with it. So took it back and they were happy for me to swap with an equivalent Nvidia card.

I've bought from CCL a couple of times. Good company. However if your're worried about compatibility issues (not really a problem with a ssd) then Amazon is always best for PC components as you can return without question.

I don't know why anyone would buy this over the Samsung 850 EVO 500GB. The Samsung is only around 10% more expensive, same 5 yr warranty, faster across the board, hugely popular/well regarded, and 20GB bigger!
