Bit of an eclectic mix of games but they're all good! Already have Shadowrun: Dragonfall but I wanted Boston Lockdown anyway (not sure why that's in the PWYW tier and the older/cheaper Dragonfall is in the BTA tier, thought they'd be the other way around, maybe Boston Lockdown is terrible!). Also really wanted Dreamfall Chapters and am interested in trying Magicka, so all of that is great for $6! I'm just now feeling like a fool for buying Grey Goo at around £12 at Christmas...



Yes, it is. The episodes aren't purchasable separately, it's all or nothing with this game - so it's like the Telltale Walking Dead games rather than Life is Strange. Book Five's release date is still TBC.

If you're interested in Magicka I'll give you a spare key for the original. Do not bother with Magicka 2, it's dumbed down to allow for console ports - **** poor!

First time I've purchased the top tier, great bundle!

​it's extremely derivative, and a very poor man's Zelda, but in the absence of anything else like it on PC, and this cheap, you can't go wrong.

Yeah, I really liked it, definitely worth getting if you're an RTS fan (I'll play anything RTS, especially if it's sci-fi). Gameplay is quite like the older C&C games without feeling dated, which is pretty good.
It's made by Petroglyph Studios, which was formed by some ex-Westwood Studios employees after EA bought them out and closed them down, so there's some people who worked on Grey Goo who worked on the original C&C and even Dune II before that. They also made Star Wars - Empire at War - available in the other bundle if you haven't already got that!

If anyone has a Dreamfall Chapters spare key I'd like to trade =)

Very good games, heat added, kudos to the OP.

Grey Goo is excellent and worth paying for at this price.

All of them work, it's just that some of them need a little bit of tweaking to get them to run and it's annoying that they weren't fixed properly before being put on Steam. But the Steam forums are really great for sorting out problems like that, with plenty of guides and suggestions, so it's just a case of whether you can be bothered to put a bit of effort in if a game doesn't run first time.
From my experience there's no problem with the newer games - Empire at War works fine, as do Lego Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic I and II (KotOR2 was actually given two huge patches last year, making the fan made content restoration mod official and giving it Steam achievements and workshop support) and Battlefront II works but it used to use Gamespy for multiplayer and that was shut down last year so you have to use an alternative such as Gameranger now, which takes a bit of setting up.
Then there's the really old games, which were DOS-based so they've been set up to run in DOSBox and that's pretty solid, it's just the games themselves are a bit old and clunky.
I think most of the issues are with the X-Wing/TIE Fighter games, especially as they require joysticks so it's a bit of a pain trying to get a 360 controller or whatever you have these days working with them, but I have seen people having other problems with them. With any luck they'll be patched on Steam in the near future.
The one game I've had a major issue with is Galactic Battlegrounds - that was made by Ensemble Studios, who made Age of Empires, and it uses the same engine so it's basically Star Wars AoE which is great. It's been on GoG for a while but I was waiting for it to come to Steam and it was just released last week and went in the Humble Bundle on the same day. It just kept crashing to desktop after the intro videos for me but then I tried a suggestion from the forum about copying some .dll files over and now it works fine - just need to get a HD resolution/widescreen patch for it!

If someone has a spare key for Dreamfall Chapters, I'd be super grateful for it. The other games don't appeal to me. Also, I've got quite a few spare keys that I could trade.

The seconds tier went up by 86p since first time I have checked. Any chance it will come back down?

Yes all 5 chapters, but only 4 available as of now i believe.

Yeah, can see this one going high. I'd really like the $6 tier, some real gems in there, but not sure I can justify it, considering my huge to play list and the fact it would be just for dreamfall as I have the other two in the tier and with the £ being so lousy against the dollar (thanks to all the euro rubbish) $6 is actually a fair bit more than it normally is.... :disappointed:

Great bundle, if i didn't own nearly all of it already I would be snapping this up! Almost tempted to buy to give the keys to friends.

The title Grey Goo makes it sound more like a throwaway indie title than a legitimate C&C type game
