"Someone said they put a 64gb card in it but mine only works up to 32gb cards! "
They are not allowed to advertise a product accepts more than 32 GB without paying an extra licensing fee to Microsoft . Hudl2 does accept and work with a 64GB card.

I also have a 64gb card in mine which works fine.

We've had one for a while and the major problem has been the poor micro-USB socket. Poor connection and seems susceptible to damage. Trouble is, it's a good spec and does what it should when you can get it charged!
Incidentally, it's not a good reduction on Tesco's part! The RRP was only £99 at the end of its shelf life.

Remember, don't update to lollipop, can't root, 9gb of space, too many lockouts, stick With kitkat!!!

Exactly, Kitkat is the XP of Android. Lollipop is Vista.

We have two and they have been good for the kids.
I wouldn't want one as a main tablet but for the kids they work very well, although agreed on rubbish battery life and charging port issues.

My hudl2 charges fine...except if you try to do anything whilst using it. Even a more powerful charger causes it to just say that it cannot charge whilst using it.
A big problem I've had is with the mini HDMI slot. The tablet has a habit of restarting itself with non functioning WiFi when inserting a hdmi lead to screen mirror

For all those having issues with Tesco bloatware just disable it and use nova launcher.

With 2Gb ram the tablet was far ahead of its time overall compared to it competitors.
When Tesco announced there was to be no Hudl3 for xmas and their tech guy left, then ebay prices were selling for more than they had been bought for.
I found it an absolutely brilliant tablet , stick 64 Gb card in memory slot , had over 200 apps
installed . However there is a known fault with the mini usb socket. It has space to move inside, when it shouldn,t. As you need to charge it every day , it is very easy to wiggle the charging lead , especially when the red charging light doesn't come on, then it does.
Eventually you cannot charge it all. There is an ebay seller, you can buy the mini usb port and card for the hudl to fit yourself , but you will then no longer be able to use the tablet while charging at the same time.

Only 10 was sold last 1 month. As soon as it is mentioned in HukD over 200 sold in 1 hr. One person bought over 100. Another person bought over 50.

Great tablet for the money. Perfectly adequate battery life.
until....in order to address the battery rundown caused by numpties sticking power draining devices in the USB slot, Tesco modified Lollipop and removed OTG support.
On KitKat it's a winner. On Lollipop it's an ornament.

I've been thoroughly disappointed with mine. I expected great things after reading the early reviews but battery life is godawful, updates have made it 'clunky' and the TESCO 'filler' is a pain.

I have to agree with the Tesco filler crap and battery is like most other tablets pretty poor but we have one and it's great getting showbox xbmc plex etc installed and have no issues any actions seamlessly change between apps. Hot from me highly recommend them. (We have Samsung and apple products aswell)

they make more of a point of saying new, than refurbished, could be a copy and paste in that guff that mentions refurb, whereas it says new about 5 times - worth asking them for any prospective purchaser though!
