Looks to be a good price, the watch is normally 289 with the leather strap and £320 + with the metal strap, you get both straps for £289.

If thats the case your screwed every call you make as it will likely go through some Huawei equipment somewhere - BT use it, Vodafone/o2 use it and EE use it.

Anyone got problems with the watch? like the screen is not responding and flickering.

Nope. Mine has been pretty much fine. Very rarely does it lag if you're swiping too quickly to catch it out.
Meadowhall Currys had one silver Hawaii watch (as they referred to it) stored in a unit below the display area. They were happy to let me try it on. I wasn't taken by the silver model. I'll wait for black to drop in price. Excellent deal though so heat added.

I think the Samsung Gear S2 gets a better review than this smartwatch. I don't know anything about either but you can get the S2 Classic for £239 at the moment

Anyone looking for a smartwatch that looks like a normal watch should go for the Gear S2 Classic. Absolutely brilliant and the battery lasts days for me.
Though the lack of apps is disappointing.

The s2, runs on tizen not android wear, so apps are limited, it is aimed at the sports market. The w1 is a every Day watch you can use on ios and andriod specs at the hi end now supports calls and has crystal sapphire glass, and that is better than gorilla glass and the sapphire glass of the Apple watch.

I currently have 2 watches: a black and a silver and the black one is in almost perfect condition after wearing it pretty much every weekday for the past 2 years. My silver one is a smart dress watch and that started looking terrible after just a few months. All silver huawei watch looks a bit too showy for my liking as a wear anytime anywhere watch for me, but that's just my opinion and preference

Was in Currys earlier today to order the black Active version. Very annoying that not a single store in manchester stock it or have one on display to try it on for size (even the salesman didn't get it) , but I ordered it into store to try on and keep if I like it.
The 2 strap deal is great value for money, but in the end I prefer black watches and in afraid the silver will scratch too easily

Wouldn't a black show up more scratches?

Love my one. Beautiful watch and always a head turner. Has anyone with this watch received the marshmallow update? Still waiting for mine!

How stupid they named it the w1 when they already have a phone named the w1.

great. Now PRC don't need to listen in via your phone. Every conversation you have with this on will be listened too.

i don't think ive seen a single android wear watch on display in a curry's PC world apart from the google store in their flagship London one.... must have some deal with apple & their watch going on I imagine. gets great reviews. still to this day the best android wear watch. New ones due to be announced at I/o in May though with new dedicated chips in that might be worth waiting for.

This deal have been around for quite a while, I got this package back in January, but it remains the best deal out there for this watch.
Because of the quick release (but secure) mechanism to swap out the straps it really is like having two watches.
Huawei have also recently (last week) released Android Marshmallow for this watch, activating the speaker, which makes this watch stand out above all the others. A little dick Tracy it may be, but actually very useful (and surprisingly good quality).
It's a little annoying Currys don't actually stock this watch in store so you can't view before you buy but it's just as good looking in the flesh.
