Definitely a good deal, my gf loves her honor 7 and I'm digging my p8 too. For £150 you'll struggle to get much better without importing imho.

I've got this phone & the only thing I am disappointed with is the lack of otg. I installed Nova as I didn't like not having an app drawer. Well worth the price. Oh, & it's difficult to find a UK seller for a case. Still waiting for one to be delivered from China.

Yeah thats the downside having these "no name" phones, on the other hand, we save money  I've ordered a case from Amazon yesterday, said it would be here around 15'th, time will tell.

He has one in as do I but hardly any apps will actually move to sd card so it's useless imo. Same in marshmallow too. He has all the apps moved that will actually move already moved.

It would have if they set it up to use the micro-sd card for internal storage.

The sd card is set up correct from the start as internal storage but it still does not work as it should. It is still dependent on app makers to include the option.
If it was done correctly by android in the first place it would be great but it's not.

Oh I'm so happy now, I've been after this phone for a while and for this price it's nothing to hesitate about. Ordered it yesterday (before the thread got deleted, why ?) and got a mail after 2 hours that it's been dispatched.
This is a very good price for a phone that actully has dual sim AND SD-slot. Been looking into other phones too, but so many of them would req the second sim slot going to SD card, how retarded isnt that ?
Thanks for the tip, finally I will get it

had the same issue, as of two weeks ago marshmallow had not reached my handset so i could take advantage.
I take the bands here are different to the frequencies I.e. band 3 doesn't equal 900 mhz

I would personally give this phone a miss. Better phones can be had for a similar price. Camera is pretty poor and the processor is not very strong. The Vodafone Smart ultra 6 eats this for breakfast!
rev6 to hardstylemw
5 Mar 16#35
Out of curiousity. How does the Smart Ultra 6 eat this for breakfast? All in all they look very similar specifications wise. The Honor 5X looks to have a much better build quality. The only negative I can see apart from being more expensive is that it comes with EMUI. What else?
LadyMystica to hardstylemw
5 Mar 16#36
Spec on Vodaphone seems to be very similar to Honor x5, but one really big thin that is missing: no Dual Sim, so imo this cant be compared really. I personally dont understand why anyone would choose a non dual sim phone these days.

If you after a dual sim, sd card, full HD screen, metal body, fingerprint scanner (that works well), 5.5 screen, great battery, and no dodgy chinese firmware, it is simply fantastic for the money.
I too was looking at the Moto X Play (dual sim import from France/Germany), but for £70-80 less this is a steal.
Can see myself running this for a long time as it simply does everything I need in a smartphone
One thing, cheap cases for this are thin on the ground as the phone is so new (launched about just over 1 month ago), have ordered a fitted one from China on ebay but will take a few weeks to arrive. In the meantime, got a £3 pouch style one with pull up tab to protect it. It comes with a factory fitted screen protector, but I have ordered a tempered glass one to fit later
Forgot to add, as others have mentioned, get google now launcher on it from the go

agree with last comment. I have the 5x and my son the ultra smart. ultra smart is a fantastic phone, make no mistake but isn't a patch on the 5x. the 5x has a premium feel and although its not perfect it is excellent value for money. the camera could but better but is much better the SU6. voting hot for what is a good deal.

Got my son one of these cases as had 3 of em already. Its for the iphone 6 plus but this phone is almost the same size it should fit well. Only good if you like pouches though but they are really high quality leather.
TWENTY FLIPPIN QUID!! For a flamin pouch! Bloody heck, you ought to put that towards buying a higher spec`d phone rather than buying a what looks like a cheap purse for your granny.

Build quality is better with the 5x. I agree they are not comparable as the Xiaomi's are superior but you have to take the risk of buying via gearbest and the like. The camera on the 5x is very poor though worth spending a bit more for a better camera. My one gripe with my Nexus 4 is the camera which is quite frankly awful and this is a major function for me.

Yeah but better Android version = more economical battery usage.
lol, that seems a bit farfetched haha. So in other words, battery specifications is the same, 3000mAh. I can't really tell what's in the link you posted.
Before I decided to go for Honor X5 I did look at a LOT of phones {low/mid budget) and this is the only one that has what I want. Dual Sim and separate sd slot. 5.5', fingerprint plus a very sexy look, very important
So far the phones you mention don't have this, hence why I feel it's not an option for me, or something that can be compared to honor x5

LadyMystica
6 Mar 16#65
Yeah might be, haven't used marshmallow my self yet. But I haven't encountered anything in Lollipop that scares me off either. If I could find a phone exactly like this one with marshmallow I would go for that. What this one wins on is dual Sim, SD slot, 5.5' and fingerprint, and ofc for this price. So far no phone meeting that criteria has been posted in this thread.

Got it today and seriously, I'm so pleased with it so far. It feels, look wise, like a much expensive phone. Setting it up and get everything started was a breeze. £149 for this is really nothing to complain about. Only "nuisance" is i had to order 1 nano Sim from 02 since its 1 nano /1 micro sim.
