Firstly, if you're not a prime member you just need to find an addon product to avoid delivery cost.
Thirdly, a reviewer said this and it's a very relevant point... "
It looks like a cool gadget most definitely, but not sure its a hot deal.

I got an £8 one off Amazon, absolutely does the job and I can't see that there would be any real difference from this. It's a copy of the Porlex steel one and I'm pretty sure it's identical. Lots of companies selling them at various prices.
I bought one a while ago and promptly bought an electric one. It's an utter pain in the tits grinding coffee in the morning when you've got a load of other things to do.

I paid about £17 before Christmas, but that's good price too

I bought one at about £16-17 range, and although it works well, it takes a good 30mins to grind 100g at a fine setting. I now buy my coffee ground and this has gone in the cupboard.

Nice, agree that electric is the way forward though. I'd really recommend the KG79 DeLonghi it's really well made.

If you're making espresso you're better off with this than an electric one unless you spend a lot on it. This will actually grind your coffee rather than just slicing it up a bit. Cheapo electric is probably ok for a cafetiere though

I overlooked this...
I'm thinking of buying a cafeteria/French press, and if hand grinder will make the bean too fine then these are only suitable for filtered coffee.
I saw very nice Turkish coffee grinders, need to visit Istanbul soon.

I have an electric one and is great. Best if you buy a burr grinder instead of a mini chopper type.
The one I have is reduced on Amazon at present here

Turkish coffee is even finer than espresso.
This will grind for French press but it will be no more consistent than an electric grinder.
If you are doing espresso, aeropress or filter these are great. I strapped an electric screwdriver to mine to save my biceps from exercise.
