Ordered the tool roll from Maidenhead. Item showing in stock so I reserved one. Just had a call from Halfords saying it's out of stock. Second time I have reserved something at Halfords for collection and been phoned to say it's out of stock even though the site let me reserve one. Is that usual or I have I just had bad luck.

Ordered the large one for £10. Free home delivery.

Yeah, HUKD sends you to the site through a commission site which is not working with Tooled Up so it ends up being a dead link although the link itself is perfectly valid. I've put an alternative listing for the same toolbag.

I seriously do wonder if the orders highlight the items to staff who then snatch them up! Having said that, I have had no problems with my local store and have received texts to say my stuff is ready - tool roll, large tool bag and large with tray

If your order has been cancelled by Halfords, try this alternative.

I reserved two in different stores and got the conformation email. Got a call from one store last night and was told it was showing stock but none left!! glad they called. drove to the other store 30miles away and got told we tried to call you but we don't have any stock!! waste of time. You win some you lose some. Not Great!!

Picked up my order today, thankfully they had put one aside.. found a large bag on the shelf too and they gave it to me for £4.. so happy to get 2 @ £4 each.. thnxs again OP!

The tool bag in the photo looks good quality, with nice padded handles & sturdy. However the one they give you when you go in store to collect is thin/flimsy material, doesnt have padded handles. No Halfords logo patch, bag isnt the same one as their photo. Whats going on with halfords? No wonder their nickname is halfrauds

Picked mine up earlier. Is it just me or aren't these bags rather cheap quality and smaller than anticipated. Dont think they are worth a lot more than a fiver to begin with.

Collected mine today. No logo. But decent quality for £3 and £4. Sturdy bases to bags and steel frames on openings.

I'm pleased with them.

Large was OOS for me but reserved 2 mediums and 2 tool wraps for £9. I think topcashback tracked at 28p. When I collected them when I eventually got served he warned me they may not be available but I stated not received any information regarding being out of stock but they were in. One was also the large type instead of medium size. Although for me the so called medium is actually small and the large medium as previously stated. Quality excellent and no Halford logo's anywhere. The tool wraps are very high quality too. Normally very pleased with Halfords quality just a shame the customer service can be a bit poor with often poorly trained and unmotivated staff.

dont suppose anyone bought any of the large one and now doesnt want them? i managed to get three. but i could do with a few more as i want them or all identical :smiley:
