This is cheap Chinese tat.. have had plates cracking after putting them in warm water to wash. Bowls cracking after being in a microwave for less than 60 seconds.....Rang Denby to be fobbed off with an explanation of "thermal shock". Told them in my humble opinion warm washing up water is not extreme as it's not removing the skin from my hands and any bowls put in microwave were directly from kitchen cupboard and not fridge or freezer. They reluctantly sent out free replacement items and big surprise more items have chipped, cracked etc. You'd honestly be better off buying a cheap everyday set out of Tesco or Argos.

There seemed to be more interest in the other thread about where this
version of Denby was cast/made.. it is Made in England and 3 potteries
and kilns, the same as the rest of the Denby range!

I got this set last time. Lovely quality although one bowl was broken
