If you've not got a sonos then this deal was posted on here which i did.
6 mths free deezer if your on Three network or just get a FREE pay as you go sim card from there site and sign up that way no top up needed. The good thing with that deal is after 6 mths when they try and bill you theres no credit on the sim card to bill so if you forget to cancel then no problem. http://try.deezer.com/three-web/

I've had a couple of 3 months for a £1 cycles with them, and was pretty happy. Just signed up for Play music £1 deal or might have got this.

This seems a bit too good to be true - what's the catch?

Same here too. I have Sonos, never had Deezer, do I need to link my Sonos to Deezer first or something?

Tried it once before but too clunky compared to Spotify so have stuck with them over the years. Might try Apple Music again

Oddly enough, I find Deezer to be easier to use and more reliable than Spotify - in particular the latter sometimes puts long gaps between songs and on occasions just gives up the ghost altogether. So far, Deezer is almost rock-solid.

Got the free 12months when I bought a Play1 before and have to say I barely used it - Spotify Premium in my opinion is much better.
Good offer though still.

I have to say I think Deezer is better at searching for tracks on Sonos than Spotify is. I'm currently using a free 6 months from 3, but this might be my next move.

Deezer has a far better catalogue of music than Spotify

Just buy it through Brazilian VPN, works out about £2.60 a month.

Deezer appears to preload music far better than Spotify too. Just set the buffer to be nice and big and you'll likely never notice any loading issues even in signal deadspots. We have a deezer account from Sonos that was £50 for 12 months, but hopefully this will still be available in 10 months time to go to next :stuck_out_tongue:

how do deezer compare to napster? currently using napster on sonos and very happy with it but might be tempted if it's better

if I've already subscribed to premium how do I go about cancelling (without losing my playbills) and then signing through a Brazilian vpn? I can only find delete my account on the website, nothing about cancelling the premium?

Subscription settings, within "manage my account" - I got there via the Android app, but the website is the same.

I'm a Sonos customer but when I click through the link to get the deal it says I'm not eligible. Is there any particular way you need to go about doing this?

Good deal, I got 12 months free when I bought a play 1 then when that ran out got an offer to extend for £50 for another year, hope they keep doing these offers as its well worth £5 a month, prefer it over Spotify

I got charged £240 for a full year after my trial ended with sonos. No warning, just took it. So beware

Yep, had exactly the same last week. Refund sorted fairly swiftly but was really disappointed to have it happen.

Same thing happened to me but I raised a support ticket and got this refunded. It took about 4 days for them to get back to me though.

Used to have Rdio. Then got Deezer free with Orange, then EE. Not impressed at beginning but going to pay to keep it when phone contract ends. Very happy with it.

Why was it £240 for a year. its £9.99 a month isn't it?

Did you do the Deezer Elite/sonos offer when it launched? Think it was £35 upgrade offer or something for those that had the year free deezer sonos bundle, I'm guessing that it just auto charged a year elite membership which is roughly £240, just nuts, thing is after a complained I got sent the offer in this link deal anyway. Haven't decided what to do yet.

not that i would do it, and purely from a point of theory.
Whats to stop anyone buying a sonos from amazon, claiming the year and then returning the sonos using their excellent customer service?
before the abuse starts, i'm not doing it as i have a Spotify student subscription (thanks to this site :-) ) i really am just wondering

Yes this is exactly what happened to me. I was a bit reactive with PayPal when I'd seen what they'd done and filed an unauthorised payment claim. It did get sorted but still waiting for my money as you have to wait five working days for a refund!!
