Good film how it should be done, unlike DeadPool which I thought was poor despite its supposed originality.

Great film, great price.
I'm just frustrated that they don't seem to be bringing out a Phase 2 box set. Makes my Phase 1 box set rather redundant. (I mean the plain 6 disc thing, not the ridiculous collectors edition).

I just thought it was a crap film to be honest, I've seen a lot lot worse sex and violence in a myriad of other films, and true originality. It's Hollywood's idea of diversive originality, great if you're a 15 year old and you buy in to it otherwise there's much better super hero films about.

Did I watch the same film as everyone else?
The characters are dull, lacking any real depth or backstory with no real character development throughout the film.
The plot is thin and uninteresting with the sub plots pretty much pointless due to the lack of backstory for the characters, it ends up being a mess.
It's a blatant cash in on the Avengers film, but the Avengers took at least one film to build the backstory for each character.
If they had a film with each of the characters backstories (or at least Starlord, Rocket, Groot and Gamora) then it might actually have been able to make a decent film.
However as it stands its like some B rated direct to DVD sci-fi film which some how managed to get a massive budget.
I honestly can't see how it gets so much praise, at best its 3 out of 5 and that's if your being kind.

I liked Guardians of the Galaxy, didn't like Deadpool. I liked the second Thor film and the second Captain America film, couldn't stand the first ones. So maybe I'll like Deadpool 2 if they do one.
superherohype doesn't mention another Deadpool film this decade >
It was a film to show deadpool, his origins and nature and it did exactly that. I admit the directing was not the best as Ryan Reynolds and the writers literally made and carried the film (probably why the director is currently not being considered for the next film).

Regardless of what your opinion is of this film, this is a bargain and major heat to the OP.
(My personal favourite film of the MCU series BTW, followed very closely by Ant-Man).

Yeah and even though it did that, it's still a crap film, that was my experience.

A second deadpool film has been confirmed by Fox after the success of the first. At the end of Deadpool (after the end credits for anyone who didn't bother or were too impatient to stay through the end credits, despite marvel films having a track record of having surprises in the end credits) Cable from the X Force is confirmed to be in it (hopefully its played by Keira Knightley shes got range :stuck_out_tongue: )

Keira Knightley looks like a fish though, not sure it's the best part for her.
