Anyway this is what you get :

This game removes your ownership and gives it to Valve. Sorry I mean "this game runs through Steam".

Gta iv worked fine with motionjoy and a 360 controller. Never played the others on PC so cant help there.

Best price this collection has been in a long time. Picked it up for a fiver a few years back through Steam, but has never been back near that price since.

Do you definitely get the original GTA's with this?

Does it allow you to apply the key even with the other GTA's on the account?

I own most if not all the other GTA's on Steam but want the originals in my account. A lot to pay I know but, hey found a tenner on Saturday night so meh.

Yes you definitely get them unless Gamersgate want litigation. And from all previous deals for this yes you do get GTA London as well. Or GTA Cor Blimey Mary Porpins Where's Me Traasers Love A Duck Guv'noor as it was released for the U.S. market.

Good luck getting GTA IV to work with this. 99% of copies are send with invalid serial numbers when registering the game with the discontinued GFWL service. Rockstar take on average of 2 months to reply to a support ticket. If you can wait then great. If not, don't buy it. Great deal but not great.

It is also a nightmare with the separate digital download - this is a result of very poor porting by Rockstar and not a reflection on any retailer that happens to sell it. I'm still having a nightmare with trying to get it to even run. In addition, the patch, downloaded directly from Rockstar, claims to "remove the requirement for Rockstar Social Club".....then when you try to start the game up pops the Rockstar Social Club login splash screen. If you log in : it says logged in successfully and the game won't start. If you choose to play offline : the game won't start.

I highly doubt Rockstar can ever be bothered to fix this which is sad really. I'm pretty sure they used to care back in the day.

GTA IV works fine and gfwl works also with this deal, unlocks the achievements as well. Haven't tried the others yet. GTA IV looks really good in 4k at max settings. A game that's 7 years old it's still pretty impressive. Anyone that's only played the 360 version like myself it's well worth it.

I don't think the classic games in this pack have been ported for modern pcs.

Error message I'm seeing for each game is:-

GTA 1 = SetDisplayMode failed (DDERR_UNSUPPORTED) clicking okay shows Error 303.502 DisplayError:Seelcted Video mode not selected.

GTA 2 = Failed to set fullscreen videomode:20

Also GTA London 1969 or 1961 aren't in this pack

Still worth the price for the newer games

Sadly I've now found out you're right about the GTA London add-on but I've had zero problems getting GTA 2 to run. Can't comment on GTA because I've completed that years ago and that was hardcore enough for me.

Sweet, bought the key and got GTA1 and GTA2 added to Steam :smiley:

Spent all last night playing/fixing with 1 and thought I'd share this.

Gonna have a play with GTA2 tonight :smiley:

Both these worked for me on 8.1 x64 at home and 10 x64 at work :smiley:
