Can't believe how this game has kept its value over 3 years.

Was lucky enough to get a copy of the ten quid asda deal a while back. It's a 7 disc install and then an update straight after!

Still holds its value on console so what does PC have anything to do with it. I was stating that a 3year old game holing its value is crazy

TBH there's two versions of GTA V, the 360/PS3 versions and then the PC/PS4/Xbone versions. There's a massive difference in them, especially in the way they look.
The PC version is obviously the flagship version, it's very well optimized and looks amazing, plus like any PC game there's an amazing community of modders.

Anyone know a price similar to this for Digital download? Heat added, fantastic price
I think we can all agree that a year-old PC game shouldn't be on here for a "discount" price of £20. Not disparaging the poster (good find!) but the pricing on this game is bizarre.

It's less than 12 months old and GTA Online is extremely popular on the PC.

I bought this when it first came out, unfortunately it was a digital key, i find it annoying not having the cds to install it with, so anyone know if it's possible to burn the gta 5 game download onto disks as well, not a fan of downloading this massive game again

or you can just torrent the game for £0.00 and you won't have to wait a week before it's delivered...

Anyway with torrenting the game you can't play online, regardless of anything else.

"Why has arguably the biggest game release of the past 10 years, with a thriving online community held its value so well? " Hmm let me think...

cause in those 3 years there hasn't been any sequels. Other games have yearly releases which makes the value plummet, plus this is a brilliant game that offers a **** load of things to do, it's much better value for money then any other game ive played.

I don't dispute the value as its a great game.
COD had yearly sequels but they kept there value a few years ago.

COD tends to also keep it's value even for yearly releases for some reason. But saying that, call of duty advance warfare was released under 2 years ago and i seen it on sale for under £8, even though COD games tend to hold value as well.
I have no issues what so ever with GTA V holding it's value. They spent alot of money on it, alot of time, and haven't pumped out tons of sequels since then. Also they still give free content every month or so. Plus it offers SO much content, so many game modes, single player, single player mods, gta v roam, free roam activities, ect. I don't know why anyone would even question why it holds it's value, because the answer is pretty dam obvious.

I think COD holding its value is a bit of a marketing ploy. If the older versions are almost as expensive as the latest release, it tends to make a lot of people just decide to buy the latest release, thus early sales figures increase. Once a new release comes out, they're not particularly bothered about what happens to the older games, even if reducing the price meant they might sell another few thousand copies.

COD 4 kept its value for about 4 years but then it was the best cod. By far if you started on that one.
Ever since the next gen copies they drop like a stone.
