The game is far richer on PC - if you have the hardware. However on the flip side, PC online is chock full of cheaters.

I also mean't to say, i do have a few Rockstar games on steam, they do require you to make a account and log into the Rockstar social club, (LA Niora, Max Payne 3, GTA IV), but i have never had any issues with this, and i have never come up against any type of restrictions on how many PC i have done this on over the years.

I have no idea how Rockstars DRM works as i have never bought anything via it, i just prefer steam, had my account since 2004, DRM done right, no hassle when you change hardware or PC's, options in place to guard your account from unauthorised access, their big pictures works great for playing on the big TV, their friends and other features work as they should, i can buy codes elsewhere and redeem them on steam without any issues, you can get refunds, and when they have sales, they have sales. lol
If you want peace of mind, wait for the summer sales and get GTAV on sale, it is just around the corner.

You don't purchase the game through rockstar drm. You buy it from any key retailer and activate it on your rockstar account.
Rockstar DRM is mandatory to play GTA V even if you buy the game on Steam.
If your rockstar account is compromised, steam can't do anything to rectify your situation. There is no protection for unauthorised access.
The last 2 steam summer sales sucked.

If you really must have those steam cheevo's then the steam version is also on sale at present, just under £27, was £39.99 a few days ago.
I am in a similar dilemma, i like to try and keep all of not most of my digital library in the one place, so i have held back on the Rockstar version, but i am toying with the £27 sale at the moment, BUT, i have AC Syndicate, FC Primal and The Division all sitting there mocking me, too many games, not enough time in the day. lol

Someone is saying they having trouble moving from one computer to another with Rockstar Support. I am constantly messing with my PC's and will not have a finished setup for a while (have skylake, 2011 and old setup that I'm messing around with to see what I keep).
Would I run into problems keep changing the PC that runs the game? Would I need to buy it with steam to have portability between systems? Just had a go at Nintendo support for this very thing!!

I might buy another copy, had to reinstall GTA 5 due to borked mobo and hdd. Reinstalled and it's moaning about my activation code already in use. Rockstar support slowwwwwww to respond with anything helpful than "uninstall then reinstall" booooooooooooo
Good deal

I heard you like DRMs so we put a DRM in your DRM so you can DRM while you DRM.
Just lol at people who would not touch anything that does not have the steam logo on it.
Enjoy paying the extra £10 you marks.

I suppose that's an option. I don't usually like selling games as I fear I might want to play them again, but in this case that wouldn't be an issue

Can anyone remember how long it took GTAIV's price on PC to fall below £10? It seems like it took a lot less than the time it's taking this game! Oh well. Already have it on PS3 but can't bring myself to spend more than £15 or so on a game I already have.

Sell the PS3 copy. Playing it on PC is a completely different experience.

Nice price but doesn't appear to be a steam code. Do you download it straight from rockstar?

Yep and You have to download the rockstar game client. Annoying but not intrusive. You can add it to your steam library as third party game too
