I have this size tyre on my mk 4 gold td gti 150. Best tyres ive gad are goodyear nct 5 and bridgestone er300 hard wearing tyre. Got 32000 out a pair of front ones!! Ok bit noisy but not enough to annoy u. Thing is if you go with a soft tyre you be lucky if you get 12k out of them

I know i was sold some nankang tyres at £60 a corner. Soft as u like and big mistake. Ive only done 5k miles and there wearing on outside edge faster than rest of tyre. Got mot next week and will be borderline if passes. They spin aswell really bad. Never again!!

Yes, I've had these tyres for almost a year and the side walls are stupidly soft.
They grip greatly in all conditions but the car moves sideways on motorway and sharp cornering

These are ok and quiet. It is a summer tyre and I would drive carefully in the cold with these.
F1 - just say no to any extras they try to sell you.
Good price though.

had these fitted on a astra over the last 8 yrs and never had a Issue with the side walls on them. maybe just lucky

Good tyre. Will be replacing the front pair after having 23k miles on them. I totally agree with the side wall issue.
Is "Precision Balance upgrade" any better than basic balancing included in the tyre price.
How much do they charge for wheel alignment and do they check all four wheels?

why are these offers always for f1 auto centres. ...someone said yesterday they were in edinburgh and their nearest f1 was in doncaster....well im in aberdeen and my nearest f1 is in doncaster too !.
