Nice price but I don't know if I should bite. I completed it on 360 and I hated the competitive multiplayer. Games just ended up being Gnasher fights. Does it have Horde mode from 3? I would buy it then.

No it doesn't have horde mode and the shotgun is more powerful on this that it was on the original gears. The multiplayer consists of the same maps, however using an improved versions of the Gears 3 engine for the Xbox One so feels different than the classic Gears 1, getting chainsaw kills it much harder on this. The matchmaking is always terrible and ends up with unbalanced teams when it comes to skill level.
At £9 it might be worth it if you wish to play the campaign again, however that's limited to 30fps, only the multiplayer manages 60fps. Personally i'd take the original on the 360 over this, which is backwards compatible as it happens.
