I've always been a huge Fire Emblem fan, and the series keeps getting better with every iteration. This and Persona 5 and the games I'm most looking forward to this year. And yes, Fire Emblem and Dragons has gotta be good.

Well let's assume that the steelbook is £5, the poster is £5 and the artbook is £10. That's typically their value. Already the pack is £20. Then you have 2 big games (£30 each) bringing that up to £80. And finally, you have Revelations which due to my lack of knowledge on I'll assume is a pricey expansion pack so add £10 to make £90.

Of course this is all speculation on pricing but I'd say this bundle is an extremely good deal and probably won't go down in price. I think £70 is the price we will be paying.

These fire emblem games are one of the biggest rip off games ever. Played and owned the previous ones but they are all iOS/android level games.

Should cost £2.99 rather than full price retails games.

Repetitive as well.

No voice just subtitles and very little animation but just pictures after pictures. So bare bones.

i love fire emblem games but i dont doubt that they could quite easily run on phones

the £5 voucher is off £50 spend so i probably wont even use mine. this is a good price tho, and if it sells out quick, will be a great investment. i have a feeling they are making enough copies for everyone tho, this would usually have sold out in 10-15 minutes

I actually pre-ordered this on the Irish Gamestop website for something stupid like 110 EUR. It had already sold out on the UK Website. It wasn't available anywhere else so I was relieved to see it at GAME (hopefully it won't be cancelled)

Well I would recommend buying elsewhere - based on an awful experience with Game & also prior a pre-order the staff at shop put the only 1 game pre-ordered of a rare game on sale - I was lucky on this occasion to have popped in the store a day earlier only to see it on sale- #CLOWNS

Will place a preorder down for now. However if Nintendo put it up on their site, GAME can do one. Not going through the stress of multiple payments again...

In this day, I demand full motion videos with voice acting, not speech bubbles and pictures. Yes phones can handle speech bubbles and static pictures.

Hopefully it's the former, but knowing how Nintendo are with limited editions and how GAME are with pre-orders, it's probably the latter.

Right I did my searching and it looks more like they are overstocking. Given how quickly America and Japan sold out, they must have assessed the European release. Remember, our copy has to cover the entirety of Europe. Not just the UK. It might be nothing, but didn't the 3 month gap between US and Europe release seem odd? Sure there's localization but surely the difference between US and Europe versions wasn't that much?

How are game with returns? Are they anything like Amazon?

Looks very tempting... I want it, but my wallet says no. I still have Fire Emblem Awakening sealed, so I probably won't have time to play this either. But these games tend to either stay the same price or shoot up, so it might be a wise investment... I'm still torn.

Yup, it has sold out. Looks like they are now booked up on pre-orders. That took them 6 hours.

I know the older ones do, but Awakening is still available for roughly retail price and it's been out for 3 years. With it being available to buy in the eShop it might keep the price down for a while. I'm just unsure of how rare these limited editions will be (judging from what I've read it's going to be pretty rare unless they produce more) and whether I should buy now or wait for further reductions.

To be fair, you can still get Awakening brand new in the shops. The older ones you can not. Once it goes out of print, the price will go up

The description says "1 per customer", seems pretty harsh imo.

as if stuff like this didn't sell out quick enough, giving people the option of buying 10 of a game that is almost guaranteed to double in price instantly just seems stupid. yeah it sucks for people who need multiple copies for legitimate reasons but it also prevents people from being dickheads

Yeah 10 is ridiculous but 1 personal copy and 1 gift copy seems fair to me. My friend is a huge fire emblem fan, but by the time he got my message about this deal it was gone. Then there's things like ordering for children/siblings who are over the age of 12 but don't have access to a debit card.

Can't argue with that logic, but in my opinion the two games are largely using the same assets and are not worth 35 each. Same goes for the DLC. I would think that each game separately as well as the bundle would be cheaper with that in mind.

i agree, more so when you think its all on one cart, so why not just release it at say £40 with both versions and still make people pay for the DLC, but at the end of the day they are a business and are here to make money

Frustrating this 3 games in 1 business considering the Special Edition seems to be so limited. I either want the Special Edition or none at all. Don't want to spend so much on digital stuff and as much as I love the Fire Emblem games (probably my favourite games of recent times) spending extra money getting them individually or as giant pieces of DLC doesn't really appeal.

For those who missed out, don't give up yet. I mean, it's quite a while away from the release date, I understand its OOS currently, but the same happened with the Majoras Mask 3DSXL (With the Skull Kid figurine). If you're wanting to have a stock checker, you can use this website, which is a stock checker for all the FE fates special editions from GAME/Amazon/Nintendo UK, updating every minute. I'm sure a few know about this already, however.

i know this is an oldish hread but im so glad i took the persons advice to preorder at nintendo too. when i placed my order with game initially i got a txt from my bank asking if it was so me i was like yes. and then placed the pre order. yesterday i got another saying 69.99 is trying to be taken from game so i was like yes. i hope they dont cancel my preorder. anyways....bottom line is... games payment system they use is utter BS as the banks are obv flagging it as fraud or dodgey which is why peoples payments decline. needless to say i probably wont use game ever again to preorder anything. what i find daft is last week game sent me an email saying "we are gonna try charging your card soon for your order next week please make sure funds are avaiable, if it declines we may cancel your order". ive had about 2k sitting there in the bank for it for couple months even today.

So, they've taken the money a few days ago, yet the item still states 'unshipped' on their site.
I did an online chat with a fellow who stated that a 'dispatch' note has been printed and 'should' port out today with the 'hope that it gets to me for tomorrow... This was at 08:30 this morning with no change throughout the whole day. :disappointed:
