If you are looking for a great value Canada trip, then there are some great early offers for one-way rentals which mean only one thing, a great road trip across Canada.
This trip starts on 25th May and you leave Canada for your journey home on 15th June, so you have three weeks to make your way from Toronto to Calgary, which of course gives you amply opportunity to visit the Rockies, including Banff and Jasper. The time of year is ideal, avoids the peak time but you should be blessed with good weather. I've been to Canada in May time (earlier) and although at early in May there was snow, the weather was sunny and dry.
You'll first fly from LGW to Toronto with Wow Air on 25th May. There is a very short stop in Iceland en-route. You'll arrive into Toronto later that day and I've included a nights accommodation in downtown Toronto as after a long flight you probably won't want to drive or collect the RV. In Toronto you'll stay at the Econolodge in Downtown area.
On 26th May you'll collect the RV from Toronto with Canadream. This is a special one way rental offer and unlike many of the other companies, this deal includes many 'extras' others charge for; convenience kit including dishes/cooking pots, linen, towel etc is included. Additioanl driver is included, as well as very comprehensive insurance cover and 5000km. This should be ample time to explore the Rockies as well as getting you from Toronto to Calgary. Even rentals from Calgary-Calgary for this period work out more expensive after adding all the extras so this is a bargain!
Not only that, the RV available (and there are two to choose from) are either the MHA Maxi and MHB Midi. The maxi is a little bigger but after checking the details and also chatting to live chat I'd recommend the MHB Midi as the bed configuration is better apparantly and the beds are bigger. These RV's are big and actually sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children!! Although I've priced this for 2 adults, if you wanted more people then the RV won't cost anymore, your only additional cost is flights and hotel accommodation in Toronto! Bargain.....
Returning the RV has to be at Calgary office but I confirmed with live chat that airport drop off/pick up can be included at no extra charge so if you do book this then it is worth chatting on live chat first and they will email you a quote and you can the book.

Yeah if I'm gonna be spending £2k on a holiday I think I'd ought to do better than sleeping in an Econolodge thanks all the same!

It's 1 night just so you don't have to get the motorhome straight away! Toronto isn't cheap for hotels or accommodation but feel free to triple your budget for somewhere better for the sake of 1 night. It's hardly like you'll be staying there long. It's budget and centrally located kind of Travelodge like comparable.

Really? We had so many bear and moose encounters but it was May time and they were all waking up scavenging for food. In Jasper once the corn trains went through they were all on the track eating the spillages. We also saw elk, wolves and black/brown bears. A bit scary sometimes...
