I assume most of you are already familiar with Merekat Movies when you buy an insurance policy through "compare the market"?
Well, today I received an email informing me that in addition to cinema tickets you can also receive a free limited edition Merekat toy to celebrate (ie "promote") the upcoming Superman Vs Batman movie.
I'm not suggesting you buy a policy specifically to get a free stuffed toy, but if you have bought insurance recently ( or are just about to) then following the on screen instructions you should be able to claim your free toy.
Sadly, if you bought a travel insurance policy this is NOT eligible for this promotion?

just checked the FAQ you can only claim a superhero toy if you have reqistered for insurance AFTER march 1st, so previous running covers don't qualify :-( that's why 1 of my 2 isn't processing

The ones on ebay will be from their call centres, BGL operate the claims lines for car insurance etc and give them to their staff as an incentive. I got a couple when I worked for their car insurance claims line, gutted to have missed out on these ones!

I think so......looking at the claim form you need to submit your policy number, so if you can find that then I don't see why not?
As I myself haven't bought insurance through compare the market I can't actually verify it myself!
