As if £10 at b&m will get you a "proper" ladder.

Not the poor ground. She went horse back riding on a Shetland over the weekend... I was embarrassed for her.

Can't you read the measurements on the Maplin description page??

Was that in the USA? Otherwise, it's horse riding. Generally the back is where you ride, us Brits don't feel it necessary to add that in.

I have had one of these for over a year and can truthfully say they are not flimsy. The clue is in the description - they are a step stool - not a decorators all day job stool. Yes they look small but are perfectly suitable to holding me safely with no give or creaking. I am 90kgs and wear size 10.5 shoes and have no problems. They have safety locking arms across the legs preventing them folding with the standing area at least 10.5 inches x 6.25 inches or 27cm x 16cm for those into metric.

I have a similar pair & I take them to air displays. In Bournemouth on the overcliff I can be several people back from the front & I stand on my steps & get the best view in the house. Between displays they make a nice seat.
