Playstation Plus games for March have gone live, and there's one piece of good news in amongst the otherwise mediocre selection - Flame Over's PS4 version has been mistakenly added as a freebie, when only the Vita version is supposed to be part of the lineup

The same thing happened with Kickbeat back in October, and it was fixed within a day - add to your basket quickly!

EDIT: has been pointed out by the developer on twitter that this is intentional; the mistake was in Sony's original announcement. So there's no rush to download, and the vast majority of these 1000+ degrees were undeserved! Hurrah!

Lesson for Sony:

Give 6 games away, get universal abuse
Give the same 6 games away but "accidently" give one away on two different formats, get universal abuse (and 1200 degrees of HUKD heat)

I haven't downloaded any of the free games in months. If it wasn't needed to play Online, PS+ would have about 3 subscribers. I'm going back to PC soon. I'm tired of paying Sony for nothing

The Vita and PS4 versions are a bit different, so they don't have cross-buy enabled.

But, this isn't a mistake. The developers know the game is free, so it appears the mistake may be on Sony's side not adding the correct information to the blog.

It's close but the total value for 2015 was $1136.79 according to IGN.

You can pick up newly released games for around £30 on ebay, play them, complete them and sell them on for £25-30. This way you can play whatever games you want for under a fiver a month. I do this and sometimes break even or make a small profit!

Broforce and Helldivers are both titles that I was going to purchase on the pc. Both at around £5-10 respectively. I only paid £27 for my year sub. So it's already done half it's value for me.

Flame over may not be the title for me, but it's still a very solid title and worth £8.99 on steam, but again that's original value. Both of which the two above are worth more.

£100+/month average? Are you serious? Sony are a business first and foremost, there is no way they're giving everyone £1200 of games each year.
You have to pay to play online on PS4... they are never going to give you good games because what's the point? You need plus anyway. Of course they gave lots of goodies back in the ps3 times because then online was free

And for what it's worth based on the price on PSN the ps3/ps4 games combined would cost you £46.5 this month which is already more than the entire years sub costs

Great game, just wish I hadn't bought it now, guess I can now play it all over again on Vita (I bought PS4 version) and earn some more trophies (unless they are shared?) though I'd imagine it's much the same game just with slightly worse/smaller graphics?

We really don't see enough fire fighting games apart from this I can only think of the firemen on SNES and Fahrenheit on Mega CD oh and there was one on Wii too but I forget the name, wasn't a patch on Flame Over anyway....

Mint complete copies go for £300+ from the last time I checked. I regret not keeping my games in top condition from my childhood. Threw away a lot of the boxes to fit them all into one bookshelf. :disappointed:

The blog post specifically only mentions the Vita version. The game is not cross buy, so having one version free does not automatically mean the other will be. In addition, mistakes are a simple fact of life for SCEE's store updates, so in the rare case where on benefits the customer it's worth highlighting. This exact type of error has happened before
