Why not look at reviews? There's so many games I'm interested in I can't afford them all and reviews are a handy guide. Not that I don't take word of mouth into consideration which is why I asked here. :sunglasses:

Much improved now, online works flawlessly, the cars handle better and it still looks sublime. Easily the best racer on PS4

Great price, great game and the season pass alone is usually more expensive than this!
Wish they'd do a standalone cheap deal on the pass though, I bought the digital version on day 1 at full price (I say full price, it was discounted at the time, prob about £35 or so) but although I've got the platinum trophy for the main game I never got around to getting the pass.

Don't worry about the other guy; looking at reviews obviously makes sense. That said, this game has changed (read improved) a lot since its initial release and if you have even a passing interest in racing games that fit around the more serious side of arcade then you should absolutely give Driveclub a go for £8 - you get around 40 tracks without even taking into account variations, over 100 cars with basically no duplications, the best weather effects and day/night cycle I think in any game ever and a crazy number of events and trophies.

I got the bikes expansion pack when it was released but every time I go to play store it tells me I don't own it even though I can play it and download other bike DLC.
I wonder if it's bugged.

Seems to be some confusion as the game is listed as "Full Game for PlayStation Plus".
Can anyone clarify if its only playable if you have PlayStation Plus and indeed if its the proper full game. And whilst I am here I may as well ask what the season pass gives you.

• "Your progress WILL continue from DRIVECLUB™ PlayStation®Plus Edition when you upgrade". From the description in the psn store. I'm not understanding what you get. Do you loose it when ps+ expires.
Shokz to Wr4ngler
17 Mar 16#37
No, you don't. Anything you pay for no matter how you get it is always yours to keep forever. That little description at the bottom is talking about the free version of the game some people used to have via PS+; it no longer applies since you can't get the free version any more.

Just bought, thanks op. Is this more of an arcade racer rather than a sim like project cars? I don't like gran turismo type games and love need for speed type racers.
Rens11 to monz87
17 Mar 16#42
yeah it's more arcade than Sim
Rotmm to monz87
17 Mar 16#47
Some like to brand it "Simcade" because the physics behind the handling it quite sophisticated.
But I personally think some people confuse "hard" with "sim". The handling model and AI are all what you would expect from a Need for Speed-like arcade racer, with an element of rubber banding to create "close races". There also isn't any real tuning.
But it isn't an easy game by any means. You won't win all the races, or even most of them. There isn't a "driving line" or "breaking line" to help you learn a course. The handling of the cars is both quite heavy but can also be quite twitchy.
It's very much an acquired taste. Those that like it love it. Myself, I've never really been that happy with the handling and don't play it much.
Still, for £8 it's a steal and can be beautiful at times, especially if you play around with photo mode. Can take some stunning shots.

Can someone answer a question I have please? I have the main game and wanted to buy the season pass but it is £9.99 whereas this deal includes the game and season pass for £7.99. Will this season pass work with my disc game and do I need to download the game from the store to make the season pass work? I would rather not download the full game as it will take up a lot of space on my PS4.
Midnight Tboy to ashraf9891
26 Mar 16#62
all your disc games install FULLY to the internal HDD anyway before you can play them, so it would make no difference to space taken (not counting any extra space the season pass itself takes). It may possibly require a reinstall however, not sure on that
