Looks like a decent coat to me, should I care that TokyoLaundry are seen as a poor man's SuperDry? Well what I should care about is that both brands associate themselves with Japan when they have nothing to do with Japan apart from a name (Tokyo Laundry) and SuperDry (Japanese symbols on the clothing). So what these brands actually say about the wearer is that either they are naive or they don't care about wearing what is essential faux Japanese clothing.
I guess the best I can say about Tokyo Laundry and SuperDry is they're less than authentic but they want you to believe they are. I possibly think about things too much, what I would do if I liked any of the clothing is buy it and not care what anyone else thinks about me. I do own a Tokyo Laundry jacket from 10+ years ago and don't imagine I will buy anything from them again though. Super Dry sorry but that's the Justin Beiber equivalent of clothing, very popular but massively naff.

There's no possibly about it! I daren't think what you're like buying a car. It must take you the best part of a decade.

I've ordered from Tokyo Laundry twice, and each time they lost my order and didn't even let me know until I hassled them. Stay away from them I would say!

You've had one of their jackets for over ten years and you wouldn't buy from them again?

As long as it looks good and the quality is fine then I don't see the problem. Far too many brand snobs around nowadays that are prepared to pay stupid prices just for a label.

How does Tokyo Laundry keep getting such prominence on here? Their stuff is absolute guff.
I'm not talking about being a brand snob here (bought a fair amount of their stuff in a sale mentioned on here myself) but I mean the quality is just absolute tat. Not bad for throwaway stuff for holiday but doesn't hold up to washing, shrinks and deforms and really isn't worth even looking at.

I think we both know the answer to that.... £

Garbage. That's all I'll say about Tokyo Laundry, the 3rd party brands (of which this is one) they sell on their website too are even worse.
