as far as i'm aware all the tickets sold
you basically had to scroll down through the crashed pages and find links like view cart / checkout / pay with paypal to get it to load the next step (in my experience with it)
would have been nice if people weren't so greedy buying more than they needed so that everyone could have some

Do you think people really were buying more than they need? You could only buy 6 as far as I could tell, which is the exact number I need with 4 kids.
Better check eBay - I wonder what the mark up will be, or should I go along Saturday and Sunday morning looking for the tout on the corner by the entrance?

I'm just wondering now if this is just a scam - hoping that parents will tell their children in advance of buying the 11p tickets, and then after not being able to get on the site, made to feel guilty so that they go and pay the full price for the tickets (so as to not upset their children - I haven't told my 9 year old about this yet, just in case this did happen)!

They restrict the rpm on them, can't pick up nearly as much weight as they should be able to. Where an unrestricted digger would rev up with load on the bucket these just do not, they just fail to lift the bucket.
I actually went for one of the skid steer racing days that they hold after the park shuts and they do derestrict those for the racing. I think they normally do about 3 mph when the park is open but for the races about 10mph.

Took son to one in Castleford a few years back. Crazy place. We excavated a hole when the digger was right by the side of it. I was worried the digger would topple in. Then sat in a big bucket on a giant scissor lift thing and it lifted us up hundreds of feet. Felt like it was going to tip forward. Even hook a duck was done with a mini digger. Sure it must be safe, but playing around with industrial equipment had a real sense of danger I thought.

We've been twice to the one in Willand (Devon). The last time we went was on 1 March 2015 - think there was an offer on then for half price tickets (must have been around 16 customers only - early afternoon). It was bitterly cold on the day, but we all wrapped up well and had a lot of fun. If I can get some of these tickets, I'll go again, but this time hope that the weather is a little warmer.
