2 is bad, 4 is awful, 5 is horrendous. Original and Vengeance are great though.

Great deal.....even if you use the last one as a coaster (although that is doing a disservice to coasters)

This. Although didn't think 4 was that awful. Bit like alien 3, on its own its not bad at all, actually dir. cut is quite underated, but just doesn't reach the heights of the first 2.

Am I alone in actually preferring Die Hard 5 to 4?
To me, Bruce actually feels more like the usual wise-cracking John McClane in the fifth one, rather than the listless, generic hard-boiled cop of the fourth, and the plot and villains aren't quite so over-the-top.

4 wasn't as bad imo, maybe the stupid cgi fighter jet set piece but personally I liked the angle taken with the computer hacks wrecking everything from mobile networks to utilities, and the computer nerd with the backup generators just to stay online. But 5, oh God I saw that on channel 4 last month and wished I didn't bother, summed up by the rip off death copying Hans Gruber falling off the Nakatomi tower.

Not a bad price even taking into account putting 4 and 5 straight in the bin.

The unrated version of Die Hard 4 is a vast improvement over the theatrical version. I would recommend seeking it out.

Just the last one? #4 was pretty shaky too.
Lotsa heat (1-3).

It's funny that Die Hard 4.0 is awful, but since 5 came out I'm like "ehhhh it's not so bad now"
