If you have the destiny base game and you log in with a friends account on your console that already has the taken king does it upgrade your destiny to the taken king? There are some videos on you tube but I'm not sure if they are fake and I don't have a friend with ttk on Ps3 to try it with! Let us know if it works.

very difficult to play without purchasing The Taken King as a lot of content is locked. The Tanken King includes the base game. Avoid

don't buy this if you're new to the game! it's useless without the dlc! look for a good price on the legendary edition which contains everything.

This is really only a good deal to people who have already purchased the Taken King, then sold it and maybes want a cheap return to Destiny

Totally addicted to The Taken King. Gave up on the game on Xbox One. But I got it on PS4 and have found some great players to link up on. Smashing the missions and dominated most of the weekend on Iron Banner. It is a grind but from someone who only really played Call of Duty, I find the multiplayer more equal and the single player satisfying.

While £5 is decent for the base game and you can get quite far- you're probably best off going straight to The Taken King instead!

i would recommend people to purchase Taken King, its make the game worthwhile.

Have 3 x 320 characters on Xbox One. Bought this PS4 version for £4.99 because I'm a dirty Destiny addict and it gives me something to do whilst I wait for new content.

Duplicate post, been around for couple of weeks now.

It feels like this should be getting given away for free now. The game has progressed so much since with all the additional content that the base game is pretty obsolete.

This version of Destiny is effectively a demo since BungieVision released The Taken King.

Just get the Taken King Legendary Edition and you will be a happy bunny. Dont waste your £5 on this. Use that for the Legendary edition.

The Legendary edition has the original game, all DLCs and the latest Taken King expansion. So you get all in one bundle straightaway :smiley:

The Taken King is an expansion to the original game, you will need the original game. To play TTK, you can buy the original game and all the expansions (the other two are The Dark Below and House of Wolves) separately, or buy The Taken King Legendary Edition which has the original game and all expansions, and will most likely work out much cheaper.

Destiny the original which is this one is not worth buying. You cant do **** :-)

If never played it would recommend downloading the free ps4 demo to see if you like the mechanics then consider buying the legendary edition with your £5 discount! Part of the game is related to reading online and trying to understand what weapons and armour are worth owning and levelling. That is near-impossible to understand without the DLC content now.
