I got this at £329 in Christmas deal ,but I would still add heat as this a good price,as this amplifier is class, I have had Sony,onkyo and even Yamaha and this for price range is a top amplifier ,great future proofing with Dolby atoms and the update came out in January for Dts-x and this also great with every input being 2.2hdcp,so get purchasing if you need amp the now ,if not wait 6 months and it be down in price and be a great buy

Onkyo fixed my 6 year old 607 sofa said backed out of this purchase. Will be buying it in a month or so in the new house - hopefully it's dropped more by then.
Good post for a good amp. One one to get in this price range at the moment imho

Onkyo are fixing my 6 yr old 808 as well. Dreaded no sound, no network connection issue???? If so its warranted till 2018!!. Eitherway this is still a great deal for a great amp & was considering this till Onkyo stepped up and repaired my amp for free.

sevenoaks and peter tyson selling for the same. don't know about other places but Peter Tyson include 3 year warranty.
I'm thinking of getting this, or save up a bit more for the Marantz 6010

Does this kit give reasonable enough music quality, I.e. could it replace a basic hifi amplifier? I have a Cambridge A5 and some Gale floor standing speakers but am thinking about replacing those with an AV system, or is that crazy?
