Another Amazon deal that isn't anywhere near as good as they'd have you think, but it is at least cheaper than it has been in a long time

More chance of winning the lottery than being able to buy one at Tescos.

Thought I'd give it a go. 700 odd positive reviews cant be wrong can they? I think Ive out grown my Tassimo machine.

A friend has bought an all singing all dancing prima Donna model and I don't know if I should hang on to get something newer? The only thing that puts me off is that visually it isn't the best looking kitchen toy. But you can't argue with the sheer number of excellent reviews that people are still posting.
I'm wondering if I wait a few days into this deal and might get an open box one from the warehouse deals for 170 with that £20 discount?

I have a De'Longhi Bean to cup machine, which just isn't producing the coffee it used to - anyone know of any good people/companies to give it a service?

Probably cheaper to buy a new one.
My Intensa has about about 32000 on the clock. I has started leaking, but I just don't have the time to fully strip it down. I think Delonghi want about £150+ to service.

Had my reconditioned Delonghi for well over a year now and still making great coffee. You just need to descale and clean the brewing unit regularly.

Mine lasted about 3 months before half the coffee runs down the front. Have gone back to a stove top espresso as have found their returns process such a hassle. Next time I buy one I'll go for a quality brand rather than Delonghi who run permanent specials.

Bought one almost exactly like this for £175 a couple of years, used several times a day, easily my best investment ever in a kitchen gadget that isn't a fridge, cooker, microwave, or dishwasher!

Shirley, you are making Luke warm cappuccino? Don't you need to take the milk temp up to 70 degrees!?!? Remember though, anything over that and the milk proteins will start to sugar...

Got mine for £105 at Sainsbury's a while back  Great machine.
You mean the one with a plunger? I have one of those I've never used. Steam wand on the machine does what I want, though I'm sure it's not as effective as the machines Starbucks and Costa use.

It's a good machine but I found with mine when using the steam to heat up milk it takes ages then goes into over heat before you have chance to put the coffee in

I've had one of these for nearly 2 years. Used the steam wand once. The Bodum milk frother jug is so much easier.

Pro tip: If you press the button for coffee and the lights flashes to say it's too hot then turn the steam dial and let it run - it cools down within a few seconds!

Great machine. I've found it easier to use and control than the more expensive (but nicer looking) programable versions. Had mine about three years now (and it was secondhand!), used every day, and still going strong. Makes great coffee as long as you spend time setting it up.
