Brilliant price! This is for the gen2 model which is identical to gen3 except for the sticker! My local store (Staples Corner) only had the cherry mx RED keys but yours might have Brown if that's your preference. It's a clearance deal. Good luck!

So after a week in just not getting on with cherry mx red switches, if anyone is interested in buying it off me, get in touch, it's all like new inc packaging

Just checked PCWorld/Currys in Lancaster, none in stock. PCWorld had an RGB but it scans at £149.
Currys had a Mad Katz S.T.R.I.K.E TE (brown switches) further reduced to £59, pretty ugly though.

The Mad Catz STRIKE TE is available in my local. I'm looking for a cherry brown but there aren't a huge numbers of reviews of this online and most Say it's inferior to proper mx cherry brown switches. Does anyone have any experience with this keyboard? Worth getting at the price?

I got one so I'm glad they're not banned! Seriously though, pop into a local store and ask, and they will check other local stores for you. I popped into the one near work, which didn't have any, but the store 7 miles away had 4.

They're gen3's at £149.99 not the older ones on offer then. I'm sure if you had got one you wouldn't even have commented to thank the OP. Parasite

Is it back down again? I got one at £59.97 last week - found another store with one so went to get it next day and it had gone to £79.97 on 23/3/16 so went back down again by looks of it. Which day did you purchase it please OP?

Thanks guys, I already have it then (with the classy sail logo) I can recommend it whole heatedly. I have the cherry red keys, have never tried anything else as I like them a lot, they are fiddly for typing however even after years of using them, so bare that in mind if you will be using it for that.

So is it the RGB or the standard K70 pictured? I already have a black K70 with red lights but at this price I'll treat myself to an RGB version if my local has any. These Corsair keyboards are exceptional, I've had three now and loved them all.

Its the standard version (not RGB). Model number CH-9000069-UK.

Definitely standard, hopefully a mod can edit the title. I already have a red but was interested in blue/brown.

Well the pic you've posted is for the non-RGB version. Here's the box for the RGB version:
I can confirm though that Stoke Longton store have currently 2 of older gen (knaff logo) RGB K70s in stock - but they are £79.97. Still a good price but I decided (rightly or wrongly) not to get as I have the K95 non-RGB currently.

This is an absolutely stonking deal. To a point where I may even treat myself to one for work :stuck_out_tongue:
K70 even without the RGB is a very nice keyboard. MX reds are... a bit odd to type on I guess but I've got very used to mine (on a K95 RGB).

RufusG is correct, it has LED backlighting on the caps but it is not the RGB version with customisation.
Still an absolute bargain.

Crikey that's a bargain.
Forget the gimmicky rgb as the quality of the key board is top class
