Yes they, or rather Hersheys who they licensed to make and sell it for them, do and its horrible (like all Hersheys "chocolate"). To make matters worse, Hersheys were taking legal action against companies who were importing the genuine British product, not sure how that ended.

Yes, these imported products are often different. I'm currently using Colgate toothpaste that was made in South Africa and it looks different to the UK version, sort of cream coloured, and it has a much stronger minty taste, quite acceptable though.

Don't cadburys use different ingredients in chocolate for the Americans?

I don't think so. Economies of scale suggest that the ingredients should be the same, a bit like coca cola.

No wonder it's on sale, toothpaste isn't something that average Farmfoods customer buys often.
