Nice. For some reason the glass bottle ones always taste best. I would snapped up the entire lot.

We used to work with Coke and I was once told that they over-carbonated the glass bottles because the crown tops leak over time, so they would lose their fizz before the shelf life expired. As a result, when drunk early in their life, they are extra fizzy.
I agree that Coke always tastes better from glass :-)

I completely agree, I'd much rather drink Coke Cola from a glass bottle!
This was the Bolsover store.

As far as I remember there was a scientific reason for that. Glass having an affect on the taste or the gas content

Coke in glass bottles is usually ridculously expensive, so kudos for finding them at such a low price (less than the price of a single 330ml can, even from, say, Home Bargains). A shame it's only Zero though (I only drink "normal" Coke), because I might've finally been able to use my Coca Cola bottle opener I bought ages ago...

Didn't know they did Zero in glass bottles.
Why does Coke taste better in glass bottles?
one or both of the following-
a) glass is the most inert substance used for packaging and therefore gives the most unaltered drinking experience.
b) enormous psychological effect.

The only problem is that if you start searching the internet for 'mexican coke' you may get a knock at the door!
