Usual sale price is £8.74, so this is as good as it gets outside resellers. All the other Civ games are on sale there (don't forget to add the code in the checkout), but take it from me, don't buy the base Civ V. You WILL end up double dipping as there's no "upgrade" option.

Civ V has been in a Humble Bundle or two, but only the base game and the first expansion. Very, very cheeky, knowing you'll end up buying the complete edition anyway.

I've a 2009 MacBook Pro which has 8GB RAM and 240GB HDD, plus standard GFX card and intel processor... runs pretty good till the latter turns when it's all out war :-D

Loved IV, choosing Islam and then just blowing everyone up. Agree, V is awful apart from the graphics, I miss the micromanagement of III
Not huge on PC tech, but I know the card isn't that great.

It beats my laptop easy and I don't even have a dedicated gpu as I run of the onboard graphics of the cpu.

Hot, but having ordered it from GMG I haven't received anything - no email and nothing listed in the account library on their website. Is this usual? My available bank balance has been reduced by £7 so it appears to have been paid for correctly.

Well, few seconds after Ive put an order, I have received an email with an invoice AND a steamworks code.
Activated it without any problems.
Please check your spam folder.

Their telephone went to voice-mail and they don't seem to have an email support address, but they do have a Zendesk site which I've raised a ticket on:
[edit] The GMG support desk got back very quickly (nice one) and it was a bank problem with authorisation. Re-ordering worked perfectly and hopefully it won't be double-billed.
