400 Cadbury's workers sacked after Kraft confirms factory will close one week after U.S. firm promised to keep it open
It's only about the transition since Americans took over the company nothing to worry about I would have thought it's just certain details were not passed over. Creme eggs in 2014 were bad 2015 were a big improvement.

Have you tried Aldi's Mini Eggs - I think 59p for a bag - they taste like mini eggs used to! We did some blind tasting....

Even Crunchies taste pretty rank now and that's mostly honeycomb! Adding palm oil, coconut oil - has no place in chocolate. Thumbs down.
Can't eat Cadbury's any more, smells horrible when you open the wrapper.

I personally think they taste great now possibly even better as it's not quite as sweet but I respect your view and I know what you've said is echoed by a number of people.

Not the only thing Kraft (now "Mondelez"??!!!!) trashed when taking over Cadbury. Stupid money grabbing, processed-cheese-from-a-can eating, un-british, deluded Yanks! Us Brits / Dutch didnt screw up Ben & Jerry's or Hellmanns when we took them over, just made them even better!

They changed the chocolate last year from cadburys dairy milk chocolate to a standard cocoa-mix chocolate. It's a real shame but I still eat them though they don't taste as good now.

I tried a 'new' creme egg the other day to see what the fuss was all about. Personally, I couldn't tell the difference and thought it tasted lovely!

They are relying on the fact that people will eventually forget how good they used to be. I bought a six pack (of five) - was it last year or two years ago.. I forget. I ate about three of them. From eating dozens every year, I have not touched one since. I still crave the real ones, the new ones left me feeling sick. I the past I had eaten 6 OK one sitting, two of the new ones put me off for life. I will not buy cadburys and more, and I am addicted to chocolate. For me, a creme egg for free world be refused. cold

Really not a fan of these anymore, although the Cadbury Oreo eggs are pretty damn good, £1 for a bag of 8 in co-op.

Chocolate now tastes gash. The mini eggs too. Both contain palm oil too so those who concocted the recipe are not exactly environmentally aware either
