Wow.....15p each. Takes me back to 1985, although they were probably twice the size back then :stuck_out_tongue:
Good find. I'm in Farmfoods at least once a week. I'll check them out tomorrow.

Kraft have taken them to Poland, £2 an hour wages. Pay £0 tax per year (from £30m in Cadbury UK days).

Lion Bars are made by Rowntree which are owned by Nestlé that other multinational. Who have reduced the work force, close down factory and move production to Spain, Germany and Eastern Europe too.
Today's Lion bars are produced in France by Nestlé. Surprise, who would of thought it

Displayed as 6 for £1 but I have just noticed my receipt shows 4 for £1 and then charged me 39p each for the other two.
I will have to go back later to sort it out :disappointed:

This is a nestle product, they have production facilities all over Europe including France, Spain and Italy as well as Poland. You may see these bars at 4 for £1 and occasionally 5 for £1 but this deal is cracking. The Polish Lion bars aren't made for the uk market, the don't come with GB text therefore have to have an ingredient label applied. The French factory produces the UK product which requires no ingredient label.

Peanuts in a lion bar? The world has gone mad!
My first job was a five hour milk round in the middle of winter for £5 and a lion bar. I must have been mad.

These sell in our vending machine at work for £0.95 EACH....so to get six for a bargain price of a £1 is great value.

You will find you still pay £0.25 for bar, £0.70 for the vending experience at your convenience at any time you want.

Employee here, these have been discontinued for like a couple of weeks at least now and are not cross compatible with the other 4f£1 varieties. If you can find any though yes 6f£1.
