Looking for a mid size TV for kitchen and spotted this.
Ridiculously cheap for the size. Only 720p but can't have it all!
Order into store if not stocked.

Bush are an Argos owned brand name, they don't manufacture anything.
Blaupunkt is also a brand name (in terms of consumer electronics), again, not manufactured or any affiliation with Bosch (Robert Bosch sold them in 2009!).
Incidentally, the Blaupunkt and this Bush are both UMC TVs, manufactured in Slovakia/Poland, in the same factory.

I paid this money for a 32 inch blaupunkt with 5 year tesco guarantee. Full HD too.

Can't see any blaupunkts on the tesco site for this money - they also charge extra for 5 yr guarantee don't they? Seems to cost £60 extra on the emotion on the tesco site.

Bush have a horrendous reliability reputation for Only £35 more you can get a blaupunkt (Robert Bosch ) tv with a 6 year warranty at richer sounds.

Oh probably, this was a year ago haha. After looking at previous threads the Blaukpunkt 32 inch full Hd was as low as £99.99.
But the price reflects the standard and confirms the Bush tv is not good value for money.

I need a cheap 32" TV, would be grateful if anyone could point me to one which is better value for money. i.e. same price or cheaper, but better. Haven't been able to find much on this site but expired deals.

Wold you consider second hand? Gumtree in your area might have some good full HD tvs.

I've been pleased with this one:http://ao.com/product/se32ho02uk-seiki-tv-black-38494-108.aspx
but can't comment on longevity yet. Also as to me 32" is a large, main TV I wonder if my standards in the area are somewhat lower than most HUKDers!

I wouldn't buy a Bush product again my disherwasher has only lasted 22 months and I clean it regular. So if you want a cheap TV my Beko has lasted me years and they are a good price.

Well I'm going to give it a go, I'll let everyone know how it goes. My experience with Argos has always been good, any issues, I take it straight back for a full refund, no probs. Watch this space....
