I paid £32 for a 1kg bag of fresh cut building this morning for a mate. If you eat it regularly don't buy this stuff, get the decent stuff from one of the SA shops.

Have a shop near me that makes their own biltong so amazing.
Kings' is probably the best off the shelf jerky and biltong there is.
My local SA shop's biltong is amazing. Definitely the best place to buy from if you can.

Nice price - heated.
You could make your own...easy to make drying box plus spices off ebay and rump steak. Google biltong box.

Both Bundu and Wild West are made by the same company. Kings is made by a different company.

Be careful with comparisons, as the bag sizes may be different! There's 25g and 85g for Bundu, and potentially a 50g pack as well.
Sainsburys has the 85g for £3. If Lidl had the 85g for £1, that would be below wholesale price (I run an online shop just selling beef jerky and biltong so I know).
£1 for a 25g pack is not a bad price, and usually it is between £1.20 to £1.50, so it is still a saving.

All the same usually £1.75 upwards in tesco etc... not bad. Might have a look if its good as they say on protein front.

If you paid anywhere near 4 quid for 25g you clearly don't buy it regularly...

the fact you paid 5 quid for 25g means absolutely nothing

The wild west jerky contains a lot of sugar, was really surprised when I checked the nutrition info. The biltong is really unrivaled as a high protein snack.

Yes that's true- far too much sugar in Wild West after just checking! I won't be eating that again.
But this stuff tastes depressing....
Rather buy your biltong from a South African shop. Around £40 per kilo - or part thereof - and you can order it as wet, dry, lean or fatty as you like. You will need to cut it yourself but it is far better than any of these little packs.

I have had both many times, definitely a bigger fan of any biltong. Just haven't tried this brand in particular

Wild West beef jerky is like trying to eat a leather Belt. Bundu And Kings beef Jerky/biltongs are much better tasting
