I posted this deal few days ago at £20/month with £40 amazon voucher on top. Few people were not happy as some had bad experience claiming the vouchers from BT. The offer has expired now but BT has dropped the price to £16/month for BT customers. Quidco offering £40 cashback till tomorrow which will take the monthly rent down to £12.66 which is a great for a very generous plan...Glad I hold fire and did not go for the previous deal..at least I dont need to chase BT for the voucher...Let 3 go to hell with their one plan
- The other good thing about this deal is that after 12 months it should continue at the low rate of £16/month so you dont need to negotiate a lower price with BT. The only thing I am not sure about is that what will happen if I move my broadband service to another company? Will BT add another £5 per month?
Can confirm that tethering works perfectly on Android with this sim- although from what i've read, that there may be tethering/personal hotspot limitations on iOS.

A multi billion pound organisation self-promoting on HUKD?? Just when you think you've seen it all on the internet :stuck_out_tongue:. As someone who has also been accused of working for Gearbest and Aliexpress simply for posting deals I thought were worth looking at I do have to laugh when posters (especially those with so little deals personally posted) come out with this nonsense. It's direspectful in the extreme.
For the record, my son got both his Quidco and Amazon voucher in good time when he took out a BT SIM deal recently. I do feel sorry for those that haven't got them but my suspicion is they are in the minute, tiny, grain of sand minority given the amount of customers BT take on each day/week/month. A bit silly you wanting BT banned from this site because they didn't pay yours. Behave .

I have nothing to do with BT..iam an ordinary customer who has been stuffed by 3 on the one plan and looking for a better deal so I can leave 3...this deal is better than the one with Amazon voucher as there is no risk of not getting the voucher. also you are saving £48 per year which is more than the £40 Amazon voucher. now if quidco pays on top..that will be a bonus. also after 12 months you can continue at £16/month while with the voucher deal you will continue at £20/month

Loads of BT deals popping up on here at the min. Smells of self promotion.
I am a current Broadband customer. They were offering a £40 Amazon voucher and £35 cashback via Quidco. As I said in previous posts they are honouring neither. Phoned and emailed. Nothing. Typical BT. So be warned if you think you are going to get anything back I would suggest not. Have look at the other posts in Quidco and other forums if you need more proof. I think BT should be banned from this site by the moderator.

Superb deal and excellent 4g speeds in my local area. I moved from o2 to BT mobile when my Wife's contract ended and am delighted with the service. Once mine is up in a few months then I'm off too. Wish I could jump now at this price. For 20gb it's not expensive. Heat!

I received the sim but did not activate it yet as I still have another 3 weeks in my current notice to 3 (I am hoping that BT contract only starts after sim activation!!). I noted that the mobile contract has been added to my home BB contract (which started 3 days ago) on my BT account page on their website which means they are linked together so if I want to continue with this deal after 12 months I will have to keep the BB...unless someone can correct me

I think I remember my confirmation email saying that I will be charges from the day after the sim was despatched… I will see if I can dig out the email…
Found It (was in the 'Thank you for your BT order email') - We'll start charging you for BT Mobile on the day we switch on your service (usually one working date after we send your SIM) or on the day you start using the service, whichever happens first. This won't change even if you rearrange your delivery date to a later one.

You'll be charged the day after you order the SIM.
The SIM could be inactive for 11 months and 20 days - with no usage.
You'll still be charged each month from the day after the SIM was ordered.

Just regarding the BT Amazon claiming. It is extremely easy. I've done it on three separate occasions now, each time flawless. You fill out the form online, and on all three occasions the vouchers came by recorded delivery within 2 weeks (they quote a month to be on the safe side). The only problem is that I could never find the VOL number they require on my e-mails, so I had to do a live chat with them to get my VOL number. But that's not a big deal.

Signed up a couple of months back and got £40 topcashback and £40 Amazon voucher. Cash back was only supposed to be £35 but I think as I took BT sport for £5 got an extra £5 cashback.
After reading in the BT forums of problems getting Amazon vouchers i did worry but cashback was paid in a few weeks and vouchers came after a month. Didn't have to do any chasing for either.
So far service has been good and have no complaints.

Initially had a three sim paying £15 rolling for 8gb data unlimited mins & texts. This is a no brainer to switch over. Although I've gone for Topcashback as they're paying £44 which I will use for tesco clubcard. Result!

The only thing stopping me from taking this up is the poor signal I receive indoors. 3 have given me a signal boosting box to solve that problem, but if I switch carriers I will be back to square one.

Have they changed their policy on tethering? I was close to signing up to BT Mobile when it first came out but their 'no tethering' policy is a deal breaker for me. It's not even as if I use it a lot, I just like to have it as an option should my home broadband go down.

I was in the same postion. Has been using the 3 signal box for indoor signal and I was worried about BT. I was pleasently surprised as with BT I am getting 4G signal indoor with speeds of up 39Mbs and no need for any box. The phone signal is always between 2-4 bars

I wonder if any one knows the answer to this...When my BT BB contract ends in 12 months, I would like to move to another BB company for a better deal...what will happen then to this mobile contract? Will I be able to continue with it even though my BB provider is not BT?

I'm not a BT broadband or BT landline customer, so pay the additional £5/month - assume you would pay the additional £5/month if you decide not to extend your BT broadband contract.
I will probably switch away from BT once my 12 months are up as I can't tether, and there is no visual voicemail. I've also found mobile reception to be poorer than Vodafone.

I think you missed the boat mate. The monthly cost was £16 until midnight (without any amazon vouchers offered). It has gone up now to £20/month but they added £30 Amazon voucher. It is not bad but you will be £18 /year worse of than if you have ordered yesterday
