I have the 8500, and the call block feature is awesome. I didn't even have to set anything up, when someone calls me it goes through to a robot, the robot asks whoever is calling to state their name after a beep, then the phone rings and the recorded audio of someone stating their name is played to me, I can then accept or decline this call. You can of course choose your trusted numbers but I quite like the annoyance it causes my mum every time she rings! :smiley:

Great deal of you can snag one! Anyone had any joy adding older handsets to the 8500s? Got a 8500 twin set but only one of my older phones will connect (all are same model!)! Driving me insane!

Thank you. Have been looking for a good deal on these. Bought this morning. Sainsburys in Chelmsford, Essex had 4 boxes on shelf and also the BT8500 - both priced at £25 on shelf label.

Just tried again BT6500 labeled at £45, took to the counter and scanned at £45

Absolute nonsense! Just at my local Sainsbury and they have been reduced to £45 not £25. Another wild goose chase.

just had a look at the photo on my phone on the reduced to clear label is what looks to be a bar code but I cant see a six digit code. I can give you that if its any help
