I'm not sure if I like Branston beans. They are a bit sweet. They go well with the basics (toast, baked potato) but they are a little odd with a fry up - kinda like having a dessert on your plate.

How can the sauce be too thickkkkk! In beans you have to sacrifice some of the beans to the sauce for the greater good. Mash them against the side of the pan with a fork and stirt them in, in order to thicken the sauce - their lives were not in vain.

P.S. Beans are horrible so I'm inventing beaniac disease which I've got which means I can't eat them and anything without beans in in, like normal toast, should now cost £6 because it's bean free.

Heinz are the best,full stop,period.Branston taste vile and the sauce is too thick!

Haven't posted as not sure if national but our asda small heath birmingham were selling the 6 packs for 75p today might be worth a look if passing

Home Bargins have 3 tins for £1 at the moment (I remember when they were 4 for a £1 and stocked up in the shed :smile: ).

The Farmfoods price is always this price. Tesco still fooling their customers. Nothing changed.

These were £1.89 for a 6-pack in Farmfoods Norwich this afternoon if this is nearby for anyone

B&M have started doing a 3pack for £1 as well. Still also do the 4pack for £1.39 I think.
