I bought something like this last year. Big, heavy, noisy, cumbersome compared to my old Brill Razor cut

I could've sworn I bought this from B&Q about 3 years ago for the same price. Surprised its not dropped. Very good piece of machinery and feels much more robust than my previous Flymo, although it doesn't feel as smooth.

its a beast, I have the rotak 40 and it cuts through the lawn like a petrol mower without the weight. Pardon the pun, it will cut the time you will spend in the garden.

BEWARE!
These Bosch mowers were the best out there - not any more.
Last year I foolishly replaced my basic but brilliant 37cm Bosch (about 6 years old) with one of these 'Ergo' models (with the fancy handles) when on offer and it was dreadful. So bad I thought it must be faulty and replaced it under warranty - new one just the same. Made in China now and though still quotes 1400W it is less powerful; flimsy and doesn't pick up the grass properly. Cable shorter too. Bosch don't answer email or return calls. Others have made similar comments on here.
Maybe if you can get one of the older style (with the single lever switch) it will still be OK?

not all are made in china tho you are right the ones that are are not as good as uk or german made,its just a case of looking on the box to check 1st

But I believe this model is, same as my two. No problem in principle with it being made in China but that does seem to identify these poorer models.
