Not for everyone, but I'm posting to let you know that Steam is offering to sell me Borderlands Pre-Sequel for £3.60 because I already own Borderlands GOTY and Borderlands 2 base game.
Search for "Borderlands Triple Pack" in the Steam Store to get this price.
No doubt the price will be higher if you don't have those titles, but it seems Steam will now apply the discount to the items you don't have to allow you to complete the set.

Season pass STILL £12.49. It only adds one piece of story content, can't believe they still won't drop it to a reasonable price.
Not that this detracts from OPs deal which is obviously excellent, just wanted a mini-rant :man:

Even if you did buy B1goty, you have to install it and play for over 2 hours for it to register as 'owned', then you can get the 3.60 price for pre-sequel

Just tried it,
This wasnt the case, i purchased the Triple bundle for £3.60 instead of £11.16 straight after i registered a £2.50 key from G2A to my account

So i have just Borderlands and Borderlands 2 standard editions, and the Triple bundle shows at £11.16
Does it work out cheaper buying this Borderlands game of the year edition for £2.57
And then registering it to steam, you then according to others in this thread that makes the bundle £3.61? as you already own all the stuff in the pack apart from the Pre-Sequel
So in total £2.57+£3.61 so £6.18 instead of the £11.16,
Is this right?

I have everything in the bundle except Claptrap Robot Rev and the Pre-Sequel and it's pricing me at £5.49.

Good to see stuff like this happening, first proper use since steam implemented the discount system a few weeks ago! Bought this on the One the other month, reckon I might actually give it a play on PC for that price :stuck_out_tongue:

it make me angry because I spend hours trying to install mods and programmes to make it work and most of the time it doesn't wotk properly.
I use the pc as keyboard and single person experience as well as on the couch 60fps+ experience the best of both worlds!

I thought steam has enabled the publishers to do this to their bundles. So it's up to them if they want to offer the discount or not. Any who don't will look bad so I assume most will

This is excellent. This is part of Valve's new initiative where the bundle level discount is applied to individual games if you already have one or more in the bundle. We've all had that 'You will not receive additional copies of games you already own in this bundle' message during sales and been disappointed - well this is the next best thing, or possibly even better if you don't want extra copies of games. Publishers have to opt in to this, though, so it's good to know that 2K are doing it.
tempted, but as I've waited this long after release do I hold out just a bit longer for the GOTY for a fiver as had been the tradition with Borderlands games

I don't think the pre sequel got GOTY, if it did it has nothing to do with the dlc. There is only 1 story added which is at best average.

It really makes me extremely angry that developer stripout local splitscreen coop for borderlands and many other games on pc even though the console build has it!!

I think "extremely angry" is an over exaggeration really. If someone crashed into your car I'm sure there would be the opportunity to express that emotion.
As for the split-screen element. The PC isn't really seen as a two-man device, hence the lack of split-screen. Ofcourse some use PCs as consoles, the majority are single gamers who play solo with a mouse and keyboard. If you want split-screen just buy a console.

Thanks, worked for me, £3.60 is much better than the current Steam Sale price of £11.99 for TPS. I had to click on your link and buy via the browser. Searching for "Borderlands Triple Pack" in the client didn't give me any results, strangely.

£5.10 for me too.
What do you guys recon: buy Borderlands 2 GOTY or Borderlands 2+Borderlands Pre-Sequel (about the same price)?
How much the upgrade from Borderlands 2 to Borderlands 2 GOTY costs?

Not all bundles - the publishers have to opt in.
Don't get angry - get modding! You're gaming on a PC, take advantage of it! In fact, someone has already figured it out for you - http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2455302
