Best game I've played on this "nextgen" every ps4 owner should have this.

Also play old hunters before new game plus if you are below level 120 it's as hard as nails. The game is complete without the DLC, but the DLC is good

Ugh, so tempted but by the time I actually got around to playing it'll be on Ps Plus (yep, my backlog is THAT big!)

Now that is a title I totally forgot about and I'm not lying when I say I can't remember anyone I knew buying it either :laughing: there was a top mag called Mega(yep real original name) back then and I remember almost religiously going with it's reviews and they didn't say anything nice about that game so I never bought it.

Funnily enough we had someone on the inside of a distributor's in a dark corner of Essex back then who used to get games for us at bargain prices, he did get his collar felt eventually but none of us felt guilty as he was creaming it for a good couple of years before it came on top.

So even though he knocked games out at 50% off in cases with booklets and 75% just for the cartridges not one of us jumped on that title and I remember him having a few he never seemed to get rid of. Thinking about it now, old bill probably found them all when he eventually got collared and so were no doubt used in evidence when his room at his nan's got searched :confused:

Hmmm considering getting this.. Bought shadow of mordor recently due to all the praise on here and found it a bit repetitive and hard to get into.

Is this a lot better?

I do honestly feel like a scratched record, no medieval era pun intended, but I do think everyone has been spoiled rotten price-wise in modern era gaming.

It's exactly why DLC and those liberty taking micro transactions will take over in the very near future. The more people(especially casuals) pipe up about prices the more developers and publishers will implement plundering our bank accounts via other means.

Amazing game! Completed my first play through yesterday after a whopping 75 hours (not touched DLC yet). Spend a few quid extra though and buy it new, give the developer some well deserved cash instead of lining be pockets of Game and other similar companies.

Hard as nails, not for me, and I loved Dark Souls :-(

I seem to be repeating myself but I really do dread to think what you'd have made of Street Fighter 2 and Star Fox coming in at 70 quid on cartridge 25 years ago when the average wage was about £200 a week take home :confused:

Well, around £20 isn't exactly pennies and I don't think dlc, expansions etc have much to do with game depreciation, I tend to think it's developers just trying to make money. For what it's worth, it doubt tiny games and mega dlc is really the way things will go, I suspect dlc doesn't usually sell that well as it's often poor value and quality.

Well for me games aren't worth full price even good games. I want to get games as cheap as possible and still having alot of content.

Well it is what it is, I was saying earlier in another thread Street Fighter 2 set me back 70 quid on the SNES in the early 90's!

How much was 70 quid then now and yet people are moaning about games being 40 quid in the modern day?????

Anyway Bloodborne was just not my cup of tea, I just couldn't get in to it if I'm honest.

Right this minute I'm just having a bash at the Uncharted beta and finding far more impressive than I imagined

I bought this but couldn't get into it. The game is definitely well made and atmospheric but very hard and i know people say "git gud" but i don't have time for that. guess i'm a casual.

Yeah maybe I didn't give it a chance but I could tell why people enjoy these games as they are very well made. I might pick the goty edition when it gets a bit cheaper and give it another chance.

I would say this game has about a two hour tutorial without even letting you know your in one. When you beat the first boss, the fun begins. I can imagine tons of people have quit in this first period, for me it was one of the hardest parts of the game.
