Budget batteries. Charger very slow, takes 21 hours to charge fully 1300mAh ones.
Not bad if you can't afford better, more expensive one.

Very poor quality but they are only 1300mAh so will only service the basics like remotes or clocks. Not ideal for anything of great use like kids toys, cameras, console controllers.
Bought to try for an xbox one controller, one set lasted around 2 and a half hours, swapped them in the charger for the second set and got around same runtime. First set had barely even started to charge.
Charger gets very, very hot. Hot to the point where it's dangerous so i've just thrown it away. Using batteries till they run out and will just dispose of them the same.

1300mAh is not good for an AA rechargeable. You should be looking at 1900mAh minimum these days.

Not even those as they're not low self-discharge so will run flat on their own before the year is out.

i was a big fan of rechargeable batteries but not anymore unfortunately.
reason is i put alkaline batteties in and forget for months and with these rechargeables i keep charging them every now and again regardless how heavy so-called capacity i bought for these.

That's because they're not low self-discharge types.

Will it burn my house down?

No but a back draft from a curried fart might
Don't understand why this is so hot, virtually useless batteries and a slow charger? What am i missing?

People's inability to think beyond a simple headline. In the same way that deals for huge numbers of disposable cells always go hot when people could save themselves a packet by buying rechargeables. :disappointed:

I second what loadsavmoney suggests. I wish I'd done some proper research a few years ago and bought one of those smart chargers (and some eneloop batteries). Instead, I went for a cheap charger and now I have a load of batteries which can only hold a fraction of their original charge.
