While not as beautiful, ambitious, or as fun as Transistor, Bastion is still an excellently crafted and memorable experience worth it's purchase. SuperGiant Games can't miss.

I didn't like Transistor actually but I did like Bastion.
Heated though - definitely worth a few quid but it does have PS Plus written all over it.

I don't know a single person who prefers Transistor. (well apart from you it seems) but I already have bastion on 360, PC and ipad. I really don't need it again. If you haven't played it though, this is a fantastic price for a great game

I preferred Transistor. Bastion is a close second but loses points for me due to the almost impossidifficulty of getting the plantinum trophy.

Transistor is a little harder to get into but, once you start getting into the weapon/power customising, it becomes way way deeper. I prefer it. Just.

It's showing as £5.79 for me. Even including the extra 20% off for PS+ membership (that I'm presuming your deal includes but doesn't mention) that brings it down to £4.63? I'm not logged in so maybe it changes?

Fantastic game, I got the platinum on both this and Transistor within a week or so and I think it's hard to say which one is better. Highly recommended and heat for the price!

If you buy it, even with ps plus sub, if your membership expires and you don't want to renew it, you'll still have access to the game - whereas if it's free on ps plus, you can only play it with an active ps plus sub

You are thinking of the sequel transistor, bastion hasn't been on yet. Bit daft them giving them in the wrong order as with narrative games like these especially, you want to be playing them the right way around...

Transistor has a much deeper fighting mechanic, better story, sleeker style and an amazing soundtrack.
That said, Bastion is a great game too, and this is a good deal.

im the in the transistor camp. completed that and loved it.
im a couple of hours through bastion and its a bit simplistic. will continue though.
