Ah ok, I thought it was all homeware.

And also, the code does not show error when I apply it.
It does say "Discount applied" but it just does not show the amount discounted...

Therefore, I'm not sure if it will actually discount the item.

Heat for the code but lifx is much simpler and better than hue in my opinion. No hub needed for a start is great just an app.

I've just tested the code on a mirror, which appears beside the promotional banner and although it says the promotion has been applied, the price remains unchanged. I went right through to the page where it requests your card details and still no discount applied. Anyone else managed to get it working this evening?

Does anyone know if the Hue bulbs in the starter kit (with v2 hub) can be used with the 1st gen hub?

Yes, I'm pretty sure they will work with either hub. The main difference is that the V2 hub supports Apple HomeKit.

Good find - best price I've seen for Phillips hue. Used quidco and a scheme through work which saves me 8% on all Argos items to get the price down to less than £100
