Bargain holiday to Lanzerote for 2 adults and a child, or 2 adults is even cheaper £379 total. this is with Thompson so is sold as a package- with 15kg of luggage pp and coach transfers. Its for a 1bed apartment at the lanzarote Paradise club in costa teguise. decent reviews too. Leaves London Gatwic Tues 5th April and returns Tuesday 12th. Other airports are available. Just a shame I cant get the time off! hope it helps someone. :)

Only back from here found staff rude unhelpful rooms beside main bar area horrible and be prepared for taxi taxi and more taxis as it's in the middle of nowhere so if you have walking problems or young children go to peurto del carmen and save your money wouldn't go back here if you gave me it for free

Me and my wife are looking for a reasonably cheap week away in April or May. We have a 12 week old little one so the whole travelling with a baby is new for us. I take it you wouldn't recommend this place for taking a little one? Im by no means expecting luxury as this is not a luxury budget. But just wanted a relaxing week where we can walk around and chill out as we have had a rough few months. Although we are conscious that we may need some assistance from the hotel with the little one, not that I'm expecting anything to go wrong but if we needed some drugs for her or just some help - we don't want to be left out in a limb with an uninterested and unhelpful hotel. Maybe it's better going to a more specific children friendly hotel? Being new to travelling with a child is making me very cautious.

The canaries is usually pretty warm most of the year, even Jan. i was planning to go and wish I did as it was exceptionally hotter this year.
I dont know why people trash these so called 'chav' destinations. tell people you've been to 'Lanzarote' and they act like they're Rihanna and only go to the Seychelles first class, every holiday.
People need to come back down to earth. You are no better than anyone.

When in Lanzarote I normally go to Playa Blanca which is very nice. Above this in cost but many good hotels there including the Vulcan, Princess Yaiza, Natura Palace etc. All highly recommended.

Even cheaper if you leave the kid at home - plus you can actually have a decent holiday and sample all the restaurants and night-life without needing to be back in your apartment by 8pm :smiley:
PS 1 bed apartment? Isn't it illegal to make your kid sleep on the floor anyway?
