I've been using iPhone for many years and currently using the 4th iPhone. So used loads of cables, experience told me original iPhone cables are definitely not bad but definitely not the best. Have one Anker cable in car for occasionally use and it works well.

Apple cables are kenk.
If they made them to last then all the fanboys wouldn't have to go back to 'The Apple Store' or as I like yo call it 'The Fruit Shop' to buy more.

Timeis hasn't helped us for the last 2 days, add to that the bonus vouchers for registering an account and sent to my .co.uk address were valid for US customers only. They seriously cant filter out customers ineligible so they don't send out invalid "gifts"? I have several Anker Chargers a phone battery and a couple of cables but..... My opinion of Anker has really sunk. If anything this is destroying loyalty.

I was lucky enough to grab one as well after missing out yesteday. I got a free Twin USB car power adaptor just before Christmas off them as well as I'd made a few Anker purchases so I qualified for their rewards thing.

For those who can't manage to get one, on a PC:

Press the button once, then just keep pressing space bar. This will allow you to press the button and get rid of the notification quickly. There is also no need to refresh the page when you believe it is 8pm.

Finally managed to get one (after having tried the previous days). I tried 5 secs or so before their clock struck 72hrs and got a success message, so for those still wanting a code tomorrow then I'd recommend trying just before the clock counts down.

It's only valid on the White 3ft version. Cable arrived, they are thicker than the apple version, but are much shorter (obviously). Feels like a premium cable though.

As for JayJay comment about only 2,500 left, I believe it's a stock flush out, and with 500 codes a day with 2days left, that's only 1,000 that they expect to shift BETWEEN the UK and US...

So I wouldn't worry about whether they can fulfil or not just yet...

I notice people already found out that you can order more than one on the code. I found out yesterday by accident trying to see if we could order different colours at a discounted price. I ordered 2 grey as i was going to try and get another code for my brother so this worked out great for us :smiley:
The code seems to work on all colours even though the site says only white. Only thing i'm confused about is each cable is 6p with the code and I got 2 for 13p... I'm not the best at maths but even I can see something doesn't add up there :man:

I think the code is actually just 99% off. So on white cables, that's 0.599p, but black are £6.49, so that's 0.649p - meaning when you buy more than one, the rounding applies!

Ah! So the system wasn't just "busy" for me. This is looking more and more shambolic. I am very very disappointed in Anker, I have a couple of their chargers and cables and a high capacity battery in my spare phone (Android), so I know the kit works, its a shame their promotions dont work as well.

After registering for an account I got an email to my .co.uk email address with voucher codes NOT valid for UK customers. Anyone else feeling second class here? If Anker set out to annoy people, they couldn't have done a much better job

Don't trust Anker too much. They produce horrible products. Their batteries burn and their powe banks explode. Don't know if anyone heard about the scandal of how they treat their staff. Fire people without a proper reason. Last time they fired a girl(a very pretty one) in their Chinese office due to her"sexually harassed the whole office and tried to rape a guy". It was not true and it is now all over the news in China. The quality problem with their products has also been reported. I would personally stay away from the products Anker produce. Such a dodge company.

Can't say I've ever had a quality issue with an Anker product, and I've had a fair few. I'm open to hearing your claims from a proper source though.

My order arrived today. I got 10 for 60p delivered. I know, I should be hung, drawn and quartered etc.

I felt guilty but if it worked, it worked. 20+ is a bit mental though. I didn't want to really really take the p*ss.

Not doing it to make a quick buck, giving them all away to family and friends bar 3 for myself for my use. To be honest I've bought SO much Anker stuff over the last few years (portable batteries, mains chargers, car chargers, keyboard and mouse, more cables than I care to think about) and I'm always singing their praises so I don't feel so bad. If it's an introduction for my friends and family to how good Anker's stuff is it's not really such a bad thing for them :wink:
