From today Tesco have HALVED the cost of their beef and lamb sold from the fresh meat counter. Instore and online.
Went in yesterday to buy some lamb but put it back after a staff member told me about this happening. Going back today!
Includes all joints, racks and cuts

All of these offers on meat are why the production of it just isn't sustainable with such a large population, if it cost more people would eat less, resulting in far less damage to the planet we live on

Is it real half price or is it put the price up the week before half price?

Probably no one will look at this deal now but....I cooked the "small pork crackling joint" tonight. I've bought "crackling" pork before and the crackling has always been tooth breakingly hard, but this was excellent. Really crispy / crunchy and the pork meat was moist and tasty.

Indeed i haven't . .. on this site or any other. It's very rare that i'm ahead of everyone else .
What i do know though was that i was in my local large Tesco an hour before reading this post ... and i had been at the meat counter and knew what was on offer. ... and that this post was incorrect.
I thought i would try and be helpful by posting the quick & simple post . Apologies if you think that is not a positive & helpful thing to do.

I just got back from my local Tesco and "all lamb and beef" from the fresh counter IS NOT half price, in fact I could only see leg of lamb half price.
Incidentally I did end up buying a prepackaged "small pork crackling leg joint" on half price offer at £2.50/Kg. They were all 1 kilo joints so all priced at £2.50

Do you understand supply and demand? A lot of all food goes to waste, but it's the demand for it that indicates how much will be produced in coming months/years. Less demand because it costs more = less supply

No... if it cost more it wouldnt sell and then go to waste = animals die for nothing.
Loads goes to waste as it is, you have a strange way of working things out...

Great , lets just hope they are not massive oversized pieces of meat only and there are some decent sized family joints available, Always annoys me with many supermarkets not just Tesco that you have to buy more than you want to take advantage of the offers.
