I'm not sure if this is a national deal.
It was previously sold at £99 about more than a month ago and was shared on HUKD.
I would say it could be a heads-up if you're shopping in Sainsbury's.
I found this at Sainsbury's Milton Keynes the hub.

Not quite. It was the ebuyer deal for just the system with 4GB and 1TB none ssd. It didn't include the monitor which for me was a better deal but for some might not be.

I used a free trial of Revo uninstaller pro to remove bloatware, just Google the program if you are not sure whether to remove or not.
Then check your start up menu and disable any programs you don't want to launch when you log in. On Windows 10 right click on the windows button, select task manager. Scroll right to start up and disable anything you don't need.
Openelec is a linux version of kodi, on this model it boots in about 8 seconds. You will need 2 blank usb drives. One to create the boot and a fast one usb 3.0 in a blue slot (usb 3.0) on the back. I used this guide to install
Once it's installed on the sd, it will still boot striaght into windows.
To enter the boot menu press f12 loads after it beeps at switch on. Then select boot from usb to enter openelec/kodi
I personally changed mine to boot straight into openelec in bios. To enter the bios press delete button (del) at start up and change the boot order in boot options.
So now it launches straight into kodi in 8 seconds. Happy days

Love mine, sold the monitor. Upgraded to win 10, removed all the bloatware, set to boot with openelec installed on an usb drive and it's a great little media pc, for a bargain price

What did you use to remove the bloatware & what is openelec?
I have the highest spec Revo One that I got last year as a birthday/Christmas present & it was £399 at the time from eBuyer. I guess that the best option is to go for Windows 10!

After two days using it it, I can say I'm quite satisfied with it. It's relatively fast.
I'm not sure why some people say it is slow. Maybe they compared it with their powerful PC.
You can not compare a Ferrari with a small city car.
I upgraded to Windows 10.
I haven't removed the bloatware.
It sits behind my TV as a nice little HTPC.
I connect it to my Plex server flawlessly.
I haven't installed Kodi, but I will install it later.
I'm using Air Mouse Keyboard from China.
I still haven't opened the monitor yet. I might keep it as a spare or will be addition as my main PC for dual monitor, or even sell it.
I'm also wondering why they didn't put the power button on the front or the top. It's not easy to press the power button because the power button was at the lower back

I got it when it was £149 just after Xmas and I thought it was a bargain. I bought an 8 gig stick of ram off Amazon for £27 and upgraded to windows 10 and I'm more than impressed with the little thing. can't fault it.

So did I. Luckily I'd been playing around with a new router and had a wifi analyser app installed on my tablet. I eventually realised the dumb Asus PC had set up its own wireless hotspot ... which was mirroring the frequency with which it connected to my main router. This meant that its hotspot interfered with its own wifi reception - not clever, and crippled the performance.
If you're suffering crippling net delays and disable the wifi hotspot - sorry, can't remember how - you may find the wifi performance improves 50x.

The people that already have a Revo One, what OS do you have installed? I tried to install Windows 7, but it wouldn't let me. 8.1 won't power down correctly & don't won't Windows 10 if it can be helped due to the privacy issues. But I am curious as to what others are using.

These make terrific little always on media PCs, super low power usage and more than adequate to play 1080p (possibly 4k but I don't have a 4k display) but as others have said as a day to day PC it's not ideal if you're a heavy user. Occasional, absolutely but a SSD I'd essential in either case. I've got the celeron with 4gb RAM and put a 128GB SSD in there.

Popped into my local Sainsbury's earlier this evening for grocery shopping and I asked if there was any stock in stores nearby and the only stores showing 'Acer Revo' stock where places a fair distance away ie Torquay, Wrexham, Slough. However they weren't necessarily showing the price at £79. Therefore there may be price differences even if a store has stock.

I've got one of these. Not sure you could use it as main computer as even with SSD in it the machine is slower then my core duo MacBook 2009! It is however, great for a media machine as I've put a 2TB drive in and use it for KODI. My plan is to copy all my media to it and take places when go on holiday in UK.

Everything in the box itself was sealed and I had to go through the process of setting up Win 8, so it wasn't a used model. I upgraded to Win 10 but then decided to do a clean install of Win 10 from a USB stick. It seemed a little faster, then, but I imagine upgrading the ram would help a little. It's fine for what my mother uses it for. I'll keep the screen as an emergency backup, or something.
Noclouds
29 Mar 16#11
The screen is quite poor, so don't feel down if the screen was the attraction of the deal; even after tweaking what I could, colours are a bit washed out and limited viewing angles, but so what, wasn't expecting any better for the price! If nothing else, screen illumination was even across the panel, very little light bleed around the edges, a tolerable panel for office use but no tilt. I got the Revo and screen for my mother when it was £99. Plugging it into her Sony TV via HMDI sorted that out, colours are much less washed out, are vibrant, movies look great. Sound via the headphone socket wasn't working, just a loud hum, but wasn't a deal breaker, for us; sound via HDMI worked fine. It boots up quickly and though it lags a bit in some uses, it's fine for the basic office duties, surfing and a little Amazon Prime. Might upgrade the memory at some point and see if that makes a bit of a difference. Definitely worth it at that price. I went on quite a chase around Edinburgh to get one at £99. The box had been opened and wasn't in great shape but was told it was opened purely because staff couldn't believe there could possibly be a screen and computer in there - the box is surprisingly light.

I thought my Revo was a great price at £99, but this is an even better deal. There will, as I suspect, be very limited stocks throughout the country, but if you go to the Customer Services desk of your nearest Sainsbury's store, ask them to do a product/stock search for 'Revo' and they should be able to tell you if any other stores in your area have one. I did that and they called the nearby branch and asked them to put it aside for me.
