This works perfectly but don't whatever you do try to claim through the link the OP provides. What you need to do is go to the Movies and TV section of the play store and click the link for the offer there. It then applies a discount code to your account before taking you to the list the OP provides.

Time-limited access to a video file doesn't quite roll off the tongue so easily though, does it?
Liquid-s
29 Mar 163#32
Yes you can.
As for the deal it's not even showing for me so must be account specific. I took the 50% off recently so that may be why.

I can only see a 5'0% off any rental' deal on my play store. The link goes to a description of the 75% deal but no discount is applied, presumably because the 75% discount is for OPs account rather than any user.

It's been a long running promotion. I'm not sure if it's a new one since the last time. But it seems to be account specific.

yes, I've tried several of them. it looks like it's account specific as I have a different offer on my account.

I don't think it's account specific, you have to click the link through the main store page.
I clicked through the "Get Deal" link and it told me The Good Dinosaur was £4.49 then when I clicked through the main page, it applied the discount after I selected the movie.

Same here, link takes me to 75% off page, but no discount shown at all up to entering your password.
I did get the similar discount a couple of weeks ago, I think, so Probably the same.
PS to the person asking about Bats vs Soups, I just saw it today. Deffo well worth seeing on a big screen, I really enjoyed it (and I don't normally like such movies except Dark Knight). I only popped in cos of bad weather.
Mind you I did pay £22 for 3d VIP seat on Extreme screen on a Bank Holiday, the most expensive cinema ticket I ever paid. Worth it though, very good popcorn movie (though I didn't pay anymore for popcorn, I ain't crazy).

Thanks - tried it earlier using the original link and was charged full price (£3.49) for the Martian but they refunded fairly quickly. Tried following your advice and discount works fine (87p for the Martian)
I've unexpired the deal and changed the link - hopefully that will work.

"Rental"? hahahaha....they'll try anything these days
It's a video file, there's no physical commodity to rent
andyhirstfb

For me it showed 50% and for my partner, who had never rented anything from Google Play before, it showed 75%. So it depends on the account and may depend on if you have used offers/Google Play Movies in the past.

I tried Wuaki over the weekend for a rental - they only give you 48 hours to watch the movie. On google play I think you get a lot longer than this to watch it but then you only have a short time to watch it.
