For those of you that say you cant print it - I did last week - twice. Ask the friendly cashier to stop at £40 and used one - then used a 2nd one at the end of the weekly shop - Oh yes folks you can do a weekly shop at Lidl. Just be open minded eh?

Good deal but be aware of the condition "only two alcoholic drinks can be purchased in conjunction with this offer". Cashier at our Lidl said that someone came to the till with several vouchers and wanted to do multiple transactions containing mainly alcohol. When we was told the voucher was not valid he left the lot.

Some staff accept the printable ones, some don't - it depends on who you get. Lidl head office say the pdf printouts aren't valid.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for your patience whilst I looked into your comments.
Unfortunately a printed copy of the voucher will not be accepted and you would need a hard copy of the leaflet with the voucher.
I hope this information helps.
Yours sincerely, For and on behalf of Lidl UK GmbH

Wow a reply from Lidl. How did you get that? I shop at Lidl but when I've contacted their customer services (twice) no response at all.

On their web site, go to Customer Services , https://ssl.lidl.co.uk/en/customer-service-contact-form-uk.htm
Not accepting a home printed copy defies logic and common sense, as the core business objective is to encourage a customer to spend £40 by offering a £5 discount, even the paper METRO is free. The act of compulsorily needing (though many do get away with a printed one) a customer to get a free copy of METRO counters this business objective of encouraging people to spend £40 which is counter intuitive and a feeling of management dysfunctional behaviour.

It may be something to do with people selling the coupons on instore. A friend of mine was approached and asked if they were interested in buying a coupon for £1.50, they declined then saw him ask someone else nearby. They did buy it off her. Definitely a Hukdster lol..

That would be a disasterous anti human behaviour of punishing the rest of 999 apples as potentially bad when one bad apple out of 1000.
